“This 1959 Jeep FC170 is a cab-over pickup with great patina powered by a 258ci 4.0 liter inline-six with Clifford Performance 57-2300 Dual Outlet Headers,

47-4500WH Torque Monster Intake Manifold paired with a Holly 390 CFM 8007 electric choke carburetor, all mated to a 700r4 overdrive transmission controlled by a B&M shifter, paired to a New Process (NP 205) transfer case with JB Custom Fabrication twin stick controls. All monitored by new IEquus gauges. Equipment includes towing mirrors, a 108″ bed, steel 15” wheels mounted to BFGoodrich 31×10.5 All Terrain TA tires. The truck spent time in The California desert preserving the vehicle solid over the years before it was rescued in 2020 and brought back to a fun, running, driving, head turning beast of a truck that is a hit at the local car shows and has won a sponsors choice trophy. Title and tags are current until May 2022.

The FC (Forward Control) was designed by Brooks Steven and based on the contemporary CJ-5 chassis. FC-170 ran with a 44 up front with locking hubs and a 53 rear (out back was a semi-floater that had a capacity of 4,500 pounds). The FC-170 has 4.88 gears.

A 90-mph speedometer with nested temperature and fuel-level gauges sits ahead of the driver, and additional gauges are equipped to monitor fuel level, voltage, temperature, and oil pressure. No Corrosion is evident in the bed, floors, or underside.
The FC 170 was introduced by Willys in 1957 and was phased out in 1965. Total production of the FC 170 was 16,585 units. The 1959 production number was 2,783 units. Very few of these rare trucks still exist.

Clear California Title in hand.
May trade for classic Ford, Chevy, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, 50s custom or ? of equal value.”
