(09/02/2022) This has no title or registration. What does the shifter between the seats control? Is that a plow-related device?
“Listing for my father in law. I know nothing more that what is in the ad. Was used an driveway plow in the past but has not run in years. Long side front axle shaft is broken. Been in barn sitting.”
Just a guess, But I would think that’s a manual pump hydraulic plow set up. Looking at the pictures, the front plow lift frame looks to be a Western plow, I reached this conclusion being that I have the same on my 48 CJA, but with a Monarch hydraulic pump run off the engine. (HY-LO)
that shifter makes the jeep go to “eleven”
I agree with Mike. If you enlarge the pictures, you can see the hose headed toward the firewall and in the engine bay the hose runs to the outside of the battery. The frontend picture is too fuzzy to see much.
Still an interesting setup.
