UPDATE: Still available.

(10/23/2022) Unclear how much value is here, but there is some parts value at the very least. This has been turning into 4WD and appears to have a Government plate on the dash.

A sorry sight for sore eyes, what are those wide metal pieces on the underside of the engine hood? just trying to figure out what purpose they serve.

looks like large hat channel supports to support cargo, equipment or a person standing/sitting on it.
Note how flat the hood appears in the other picture. A government vehicle, we’re only left to our imagination until otherwise informed.

Barney, I had wondered about those supports; that explanation seems like a good one. An odd addition for sure.
