Given where it’s from originally, I bet that top is from a scrapped cabin cruiser. A starter’s car for harness racing. Seems like a good price. But typical FB ad with few pictures and little info.
COOL, looks to have a later model nose on it. Price seems right.
Mike, Might be the whole truck is later, like 84 – 86ish. Note the roof line above the windshield is smooth, streamlined to the roof and not an angled overhang which the 70 still had. Also the 70 had the 2-pc clear over amber front turn signals. But the clincher is the rectangle headlights which did not come out til 79, just like the Fords. Hmmmmm. Bargain-priced? Mistitled?
Barney, yes, I didn’t notice the details you pointed out. Most likely you are correct. I always apricate added comments, make me more knowledgeable.
