Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Looks in great shape, though too bad the driver’s side (which is on the right) has had the body cut. Note that this is a right hand drive jeep with an automatic transmission (probably Borg Warner).

A modified CJ5 body, and not a DJ5 grill, and 4 lug rims make me think this is a “modified” from multiple “donors” project, albeit finished well. Good for delivery service.
I agree that there were donors involved such as the windshield frame which is late 69 – 75; steering wheel is 1962< earlier. But the foundation appears to be a custom rig for govt use with RH drive, 2-sp auto, and the step-in driver side. Plus the cab had sliding doors at one time as evident by the upper slides. This rig was probably used originally for police parking enforcement where you have to step out often, but more importantly, they carried a long wand with chalk on the end to chalk tires for time violations which really was the most important mission of p/enforcement. Based on what I'm seeing, the back door (missing) would actually slide up into the top and meet a thumb latch. There are 2 holes on each side below the windshield hinge. I do not believe these are door hinge holes, but where the latch rest would have been for the doors to slide shut against.
