A few things that I question about this listing, first off I didn’t know the Tux model was still available in the 1969 model year. To back that up, windshield wipers are top mounted and the snorkel cut out plate for the hood, both were gone well before 1969. I’m not an expert on this stuff, but maybe some of you that are, can qualify this information.

I agree Mike for the reasons you stated. There’s enough Tux parts there (badge, chrome peaking out on parts, faux tuck seat backs and pads) that it may indeed be a Tux. But like a lot of older Jeeps today, it’s probably mistitled. It’s probably a 64 – 66. You can see the amber front TX lenses.

…..Front turn signal lenses. More photos always help, but it’s a FB ad. Also a photo of the Ser # plate.

I am going to look at this on Saturday. Really doesn’t matter to me if it is a Tux, it has all the parts I have missing from my Jeep. I really wanted to find the 60-40 seats and those look to be in very good condition. Those fender flares have to go.

Does anyone recognize those hubcaps? Not the typical Kaiser orange/gold color scheme. I have have never been able to find factory photos with that orange background style cap. I know they are original as I have seen them come up in the past and I believe I have a couple in my collection.

Matt, we have them in our inventory here at BJP. They are original. Best we’ve been able to determine over the years, they are for commercial applications.

Not busting chops or stepping on any toes..or Quayle tay toes either. Just wondering why my example is conflicting with expert opinion. I’m also sure that there’s more than one way to paint a cap!
