New to eWillys? Here is a very brief synopsis of this website: You can Contact Me with questions, comments or concerns. The image to the right is of my Jeep - Lost Biscuit. Learn more about eWillys, about Me or read the FAQs.

1. This website is dedicated to pre-1980s Jeeps &/or Willys, though it mostly focuses on flat-fenders (MBs, GPWs, CJ-2As, CJ-3As, CJ-3Bs, M-38s, DJ-3as). If you want to post something (your build, your jeep or sale, etc), you will need to contact me.

2. Most of the content on this site relates to flatties that ARE or WERE for sale on craigslist and ebay. My interest here is to help people buy & sell Jeeps & parts; to educate about 'old school' modifications and available parts; to make connections with other Willys Enthusiasts; and to entertain.

Here’s a couple pics from Gerald of a Zooped up F-Head.  Gerald writes, “Here are pictures of a hot rod f-Head.  This is in a tube frame racer at Lisbon in 02.  Not the kind of motor you see spinning high rpms.  From what little he would say it had a dry sump oil system,  a block girdle,  “modified” head, custom fabbed intake, electronic ignition, etc.  It may have had nitrous as well nut not sure.  That hood was open in public for less than 5 minutes.  He was not real talkative.  But man that thing flew.”

I found a zooped up L-head article that I’ll feature tomorrow.

I saw that also around that time frame in Lisbon. I think it had an auto transmission too!

  2. Mitch Says:

I need that for my FC………

  3. Bob Says:

Looks like a pontiac ignition system

  4. Oswald Says:

Bob you are right it did have an auto. That was the other weird aspect of the set-up. Do you remember anything else?

I was asking him about the valve train, he said it was a roller, the head was modified with bigger valves, and the cam was built up and ground to his own spec.

    Radical.
