“1953 willies jeep in excellent condition. 60,000 original miles. Make offer or trade for something interesting.”
Lots to like here, but it seems to be missing windshield wipers and seat back pads.
“Up for sale or possible trade is a 1953 JEEP Willys CJ3b Restored to factory showroom condition. It took over 2 yrs and close to $20,000.00 in receipts of parts alone to build this project. Every thing is brand new including the complete body that I was able to find still in the crate. Must see to understand how much time and money was invested. I have put maybe 10 miles on it since rebuild it still needs a few minor details to complete it. I just don’t have the time to work on projects any more. Email me with any Questions. Will possibly trade for a Polaris RZR, Ranger, or
equivelant side by side of equal value. No Junk”

“I have a 1953 Jeep CJ3B with the original F-head motor, T-90 transmission, and Dana 18 T-case. Newly rebuilt solex carburetor, new plugs, and cleaned pcv valve and tubing. Motor runs great and starts easy. Transmission is smooth as is 4WD. Has full Koenig hard top and doors with all glass. The drivers side fender and area around the spare tire carrier are the only bad parts in the body. No rust I can find anywhere on the frame or body. Replaced all 4 shackles. New fuel tank, fuel lines, and brake lines. Replaced parking brake cable and works great. Needs front brake parts inside drum only. Back brakes are fine and would stop the Jeep before I removed the master cylinder which is still out but works. Front tires are brand new, needs 2 back tires but still hold air. Still have original oil bath filter and few misc other parts that I will load up with it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on ebay.
This was sold in Phoenix in 2012. Now it’s for sale in Florida on eBay. The new seller is using the pictures from the previous eBay listing.
Flat fender high hood Jeep. This is a rust-free original Arizona Jeep, purchased new by the state of Arizona for use by Salt River Project Power and Water. The Jeep still has the original windshield with the SRP decal still intact. It was purchased from SRP surplus by a retired employee in the mid 80’s and has spent the last 25 years on his ranch in northern AZ, before being purchased and fully restored. Has original OHC 4-cylinder Willys Hurricane engine, 3-speed manual transmission and 4-wheel drive. Full frame-on cosmetic restoration was just completed including fully disassembling down to the bare tub, sandblasting and re-assembly. The Jeep was totally rust-free to start with, so there is very little filler and no patch panels. Engine was fully resealed and detailed to showroom condition. The complete suspension and braking system was rebuilt and upgraded to 11″ brakes from a later CJ5. Brand new wiring harness, starter, generator and regulator have been installed and tested. This Jeep has painstakingly been re-outfitted with all the correct original details down to the canvas straps, jerry can and shovel and axe mounted on the tub. Vacuum operated windshield wipers were added and all new handmade lines run. Also, the original period correct Motorola two-way radio used by SRP is still installed. Five new Firestone OE spec tires were installed to finish off this authentic and rare CJ3B.
