UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on a BAT auction.
This bring-a-trailer auction was spotted by Sam.
“This 1957 Willys Jeep Forward Control FC-150 was purchased in 1982 by the seller’s uncle and was acquired by the seller approximately six years ago. Power comes from a 134ci Hurricane inline-four paired with a three-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case, and the truck is finished in green and white over a green vinyl interior. Equipment includes locking front hubs along with a shovel, axe, and spare mounted to the side of the bed. Work performed under current ownership has consisted of a refresh of the brakes and carburetor, as well as a 12-volt electrical conversion and replacement of the tires and shocks. This FC-150 is now being offered at no reserve with an uninstalled replacement exhaust system and door panels, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was BaT auction.
Blaine spotted this FC-170 that’s being auctioned on Bring-A-Trailer.
“This 1961 Jeep FC170 is a running cab-over pickup project finished in yellow over multi-tone cloth upholstery and powered by a 226ci ‘Super Hurricane’ inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Equipment includes towing mirrors, a 108″ bed, steel 16″ wheels, and an AM/FM radio. The truck spent time in Georgia and Florida before it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2018, and servicing conducted in preparation for the sale is said to have included replacement of the transmission. This Jeep Forward Control is now offered at no reserve in Indiana with a clean Florida title.”

“I bought this FC bed out in western Nebraska with the intent of using it behind a cj10 cab.
That project changed hands and directions several times, and now I have an FC bed with no home for it.
I do consider chopping it to make it a different size for some other Jeep based pickup project.
But if someone needs it for an actual FC, that would be best.
It’s not pristine, so modifying it wouldn’t be a huge sin. But it’s solid enough that a real enthusiast might want or need it. Not many folks can say they’ve ever owned any forward control Jeep parts at all, so maybe you want it for bragging rights or to build a trailer for your flatfender.
I paid 500 several years ago, so I guess we can start there. Just my luck it’ll be worth 3000 and I still let it go for 500…”

Over at Jalopnik, David Tracy reported on his plans to turn a derelict FC-170 from Camano Island into an electric off-road vehicle. He provides plenty of pics of the neglected FC, one that will require a full rebuild. It will be interesting to follow this project.

“I’m Selling this 1960 Jeep willys FC-170. It is not a FC-150 with the short bed, this is the 3/4 ton with a 9’ bed. This particular truck used to be a hooker/ tow truck at some point. Very good patina. Not as rusty as you may think. I have 10 of them and this is one of my better ones. Very solid bones. No motor or trans. I do have a OM617 turbo diesel I could throw in with the truck for the right price. Or I could sell you the truck with motor installed and running for the right price as well. CLEAN TITLE IN HAND Not interested in trades. $7500 cash only Located in Grand County, Co. Can deliver anywhere for fair price.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(08/30/2020) It’s a dually, too, but doesn’t have the outer rears mounted.

“Just a restorable FC150. In fairly good shape. Still has counter weights. Has complete engine (i think). Year 1955 may not be right. Wood part of bed rotted away.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** was $5500.
“1958 Jeep Forward Control. FC 170.
Runs and drives, but needs work.
All complete and not too rusty considering what most FCs look like.
Has a front bumper in the bed.
Comes with a brand new windshield.
Cab has a front bracket installed to allow cab to tilt forward.
6 cylinder hurricane engine.
This is a project vehicle that will need lots of work, but it’s a great start. I looked for years before I found this one and they are getting harder to find. This is a good solid runner and is mostly complete, including the 9 foot bed.
It came out of California when I bought it and was there most of its life..
Please text with questions or to come take a look. Price is not firm, but please no low ball offers.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
Could be some value here.
“1950s FC jeep complete engine turns would probably run without any trouble cab is definitely savable the doors open and close good asking $2000 obo”
