The motor doesn’t run and there’s no transmission, missing the seats. The bed that’s on the truck is worthless but the original rear fenders are in nice shape. go figure. 1957_fc170_burbankUPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200

This is the second FC listed by this seller.

“Hard to find Willys Jeep FC 170. A 1957 the first year made. This was an old movie camera truck. The bed is missing. The cab is in real nice shape compared to most FC’s. Great cab corners and no rust around the windshield. The original 226 motor, trans and transfer case is there. There was a PTO that was removed so that’s why you see a hole in the back of the trans. All it needs is a plate made to cover the hole. The motor doesn’t run. Cracked windshield and door glass.”

A beautiful FC-150 sells for $38,000 at Russo-Steel

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677

Yeah, you read that right.  Craig from the FC-Connection site kindly dropped me a note saying that none other than Tim ‘the tool man’ Allen purchased this beautiful FC-150 for $38,000.  It probably didn’t hurt that the FC was auctioned at the Russo-Steele Auction, the televised auction you might have seen on ESPN2 while flipping through cable channels.

Here’s some images from the FC-Connection site.  And, a link to the Russo-Steel auction page for this FC-150.

1959 FC-150 & 1959 CJ-5 Phoenix, Az $1500 each

• CATEGORIES: CJ5, FC150-FC170-M677

1959_cj5_phoenixThe CJ-5 comes with a warn overdrive, a ford-top loader, a ford 289, a full cage and a set of hurricane aluminum 10″ rims.  $1500 isn’t a bad price for that combo + the rest of the parts.

The FC-150 looks pretty good as well for $1500, if it comes with some of the missing parts.

“One 1959 Willys CJ5 with Ford 289 and Ford top loader four speed, Warn overdrive, starts and runs good, original 5:38 gears and nine inch brakes, 1959_fc150_phoenixwill include parts for changing to 11 inch brakes. $1500.00 cash O.B.O. 1957 FC-150 Sacramento, Ca $1000

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677

1957_fc150_sacramentoThe rust doesn’t look all that bad.  This might be a decent price for it.

“This is a 1957 jeep fc 150. its all original but has some things missing and a little rust. things missing that i noticed are the distributar and speedometer. the passenger door is damage but could be fixed by a body guy, some rust but will be surface only and could all be taken off when sandblasted, nothing that bad, i would suggest removing the bed and cab to go through it, these trucks are very easy to pull apart. its got the original engine and was running about ten years ago. most of the parts are willy’s jeep and can be bought still through local dealers. the seats are there and there’s a few extra heads in the bed. i noticed a bunch of spare parts in the bed, i will get an inventory soon. call me if your interested, ill try to answer any questions, erik, 916-218-9187, $ is negotiable and i will deliver it!!…”

1964 FC-170 Vassalboro, Me **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677

Adam dropped me a note asking me to highlight his FC-170 that he’s having to re-auction.  Unfortunately, his last winning bidder failed to follow through with the necessary funds.  He’s got some great pictures, including one that shows how the levers connect from the transfercase and extend under the cab.  Having never seen one up-close, it’s necessary functionality that never occurred to me.

“This is a 1964 Jeep FC 170 in great condition.  It has a flathead six with a 3 speed standard transmission 4×4.  The exterior and interior are red and the seats are black and in excellent condition. The seats were re-finished and have no tears or rips . The Jeep runs good and smokes a little due to sitting too long (carburator may need to be rebuilt).  It has a new fuel pump, brand new battery and an ignition coil with a current tune up. The rear-end oil and engine oil have both been recently changed with new oil. Before I bought the Jeep, it had been stored inside a Maine barn since 1989. The only thing left to finish on the Jeep is to add a rear body.”

1960 FC-150 Saugerties, NY eBay

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677

It’s got a low starting bid.  Check out the video, but be patient as it took a while to load.

“1960 WILLY’S JEEP F150 FORWARD CONTROL 4WD. Perfect for restoration this jeep was in use until 1996. Odometer reads 24,766. When I acquired this truck a few months ago it ran great for a few days, would start right up, plenty of power and very little smoke. Then it died and before I realized the fuel pump diaphragm went I messed around with the carb. Here is a link to a 11 mg video of the Jeep in great running condition that you can download with my 12 year old son running it through our back field. http://coppermagic.com/Ebay/Jeep/SANY0969.AVI

Old FC 150? Portland, Or $2495

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677, Unusual

My guess is that this is a modified FC 150?   No doubt it’s rare! Maybe It’s the perfect vehicle for that FC collector who has it all.  It sounds as if it runs, but the owner doesn’t have a key?

“Unique vehicle. May be custom built. was told that the running gear was from a 1953 Willys. The seats are from a Volkswagen. The front windshield is movable. Has tow bar attached to the front. 6 volt battery system. Has a swivel arm on the back. 2 front seats. 4 wheel drive. Purchased it with my property and don’t know if it runs. Has never been registered. don’t have a key. The original owner was a hunter and did use this vehicle. Price $ 2495.00 or best offer.”

Rare Backhoe for FC 170 $2750

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677, Features

Dan asked me to post a rare backhoe and a DRW 170 for him.

FC 170 Backhoe Ottawa model LX: I just have too much and need room for my restored backhoe coming in. I thought I’d let FC guys know about it before listing it on the evil Ebay. But I do need to get it out of here. I have 22 FC’s right now and need to let loose this one for space.

This is the correct backhoe for a FC 170 DRW (here’s more about the DRW). I was going to put it on a DRW but found an original complete FC with factory backhoe so no need for this one. A backhoe is one of the rarest configurations for an FC. This isn’t a parts unit used for my other one. This is complete. It will need to be restored. Price $2,750.”

Rare factory 4 speed T98 DRW truck: This was the truck I was going to use for the backhoe. A Rare 4 speed T98. One of about 20 factory 4 speeds known. No bed but complete and it needs a total restoration.  Price reflects condition but it is restorable.  Price $1,200. I can send pics if your interested. (here’s more about the DRW)

Located by Burbank CA. If your going to Roy’s Roundup about 60 miles away, I could meet you there there Sun.  Email dan@carousel.com or call 818-203-9708″
