Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 Willys Pickup, Near perfect frame off restoration. L134 Flathead engine. Runs very strong. Four wheel drive fully functioning. I bought this truck roughly 10 years ago as a restoration project. It got out of hand and I went overboard. I used it for a sail chartering business that I have since sold. Not sure of the miles on the engine as the original gauges did not work. I have a lot of extra parts, leaf springs gaskets etc”

The truck has a dump bed manufactured by Converto.
“Very Rare 1948 Willys Dump Truck all original frame-off restoration. This truck was originally sold as a cab & chasis and sent to Converto Mfg Co to install the dump bed. The dump is operated by a manual hydraulic pump located in the cab. The truck has the stock original 4 cyl motor and manual three speed on the column transmission.
Everything works correctly and the truck runs and drives like new. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like more information about the truck”

“1956 Willys truck Inherited from a relative that was the original owner truck ran and drove 6 years ago it is completely original nothing has been modified on it. I do have everything to convert it over to 12 whole brand-new starter alternator wiring and coil checked pictures for details. I don’t have the time or knowledge to fix it up properly. I really don’t know much about it the truck was originally purchased in Merced In 1956 I have the original pink slip and sales paper work from the dealer when it was purchased . ”

“We have a 1956 Willies Jeep Pickup 4×4 that is in really good condition for its age…. It is very drivable. 4 wheel drive works good. Lots of work has been done, but could still use some work…. Front glass is really good and back glass good but back glass has a BB spot or something, the passenger side is cracked and needs to be replace which would be an easy fix. Can be restored or it can be driven just like it is. Have quite a bit of extra parts. Serious inquires only please, as everyone’s time is valuable and important. $5800 obo that is reasonable. Really fun truck!”

“1950 Jeep Willys Pickup 2×4 473 powered by a F134 Hurricane I-4. Runs and drives at highway speeds no problem. Very nice exterior with no body damage or rust. Interior in very nice shape with all the original gauges in working order. 3 speed with an overdrive. The heater works well and will cook you out of the truck! Lots of extra part. It is hard to find these trucks complete and running well. I have more pictures upon request. I hold a dealers license. No Trades. Come take a look at this jeep.”

“Updated price reduced! Up for sale after 15 years of ownership is my Willys Jeep Truck. This truck has been a labor of love… but i just dont use it as much as one should.. Here a brief description of it…
1.)Motor is a flat head 266 Hurricane inline 6 cylinder. New water pump. (Motors from a 57 willys wagon.)
2.) Trannys a 3 speed on the flooor with a 2 speed transfer case.. T90 and spicer 18 T case.
3.) 4 wheel drive with lock outs.. (see pic’s.)
4.) Body: is all metal very solid. Very little body filler!
5.) 5 military non-directional tires with tubes and black powder coated rims..
6.)original axles.. the rear is a timkin 53 split housing.. the front is a dana25 with closed knuckles outers..
7.) Converted to a 12 volt charging system..”
