“GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this very cool, 1950 Willy’s Panel Delivery for consideration. This Willy’s is powered by a 383 cubic inch crate motor that has less than 1000 miles on it, it was professionally installed by a shop local to the owner. Highlights include; GM 350 transmission, FAST EZ EFI, 430hp Blue Print crate motor, aluminum heads, roller cam, double roller timing, new gas tank, fuel pump and lines.
Vehicle also features new disc brakes on front, new upper and lower ball joints, newer battery, newer hoses, belts, brake lines, master cylinder, steering column, tires, steering wheel, gauges, ceramic headers and much more. The roof rack on the vehicle is mahogany and aluminum. The interior is also mahogany wood accented and in great condition.
The rear end is a 1962 Corvette posi, wheels are center line and wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires. The 898 miles on the odometer is actual to the motor and since most of the parts have been installed/replaced. This is a great running vehicle and is documented extremely well, the owner has provided us with a large binder full of receipts on service and parts, including the motor and transmission. “As you can tell by the picture of the engine compartment, I drive it very often. I live on a dirt road, which is why its a bit dirty. I will get it professionally detailed before delivery.
It is a 1948 Willys Wagon that still has the original frame, suspension and brakes. At some point someone installed a Ford V8 along with a manual transmission. Whoever did the work did a really great job. If you didn’t know better you would think it came with this engine from the factory. It also has a Vintage Air AC system which works great and was recently serviced by a Vintage Air dealer in Central Texas.
There is a little bit of rust under the paint on the bottom of the doors. If you look closely in the pictures you can see it. The only other place that has rust is the bottom of the tailgate, on the inside. Its not bad, and is a very common problem with these trucks. The floor boards and all other areas have no rust and are completely solid.
The badges on each side of the hood are wrong. They indicate that the vehicle is “4 Wheel Drive”. It is not a 4 wheel drive model.
The roof has been repainted since the pictures were taken. It had a small spot where the clear coat was pealing. The new paint matches perfectly, and looks really great.
I am selling this vehicle to help fund the purchase of an old Chevy Suburban.”

The Torch Red paint looks great from a distance and you will not need to worry about trailering this baby to your Friday Night Cruise. The old and new world styles combine nicely on the brightwork where the grille, bumper, and cursive Willys scripts combine nicely with the competition style alloy wheels and bright side exhaust tips.
