“Runs and drives well. Does over 50mph. The previous owner had this a long time and did many modifications. It has a Dana 44 narrow track rear axle. I believe the front is upgraded also. Saginaw steering setup. The motor is an early 70s 2.0 Ford. The floor has been patched numerous times. Either way it’s a drivable 2a with paperwork and I’m firm on the price. Has an F head overhead valve engine from a later Jeep that has been rebuilt. Frame has been plated in different spots and body has plenty of patches. “1947 Willy’s cj2a Clean clear title. 231 Buick V6 with advance adapters to the original trans and tcase. Aluminum intake Holley carb Mallory unilite distributor long tube headers. New coil points plugs wires thermostat water pump starter and valve cover gaskets. 31″ mud tires decent tread. Have a new poly gas tank and sending unit for it. Runs great and moves around. Needs brake work will not stop. Needs floor pan work. Have a sheet of metal to go with for it. Too many projects, just sits in the corner. $2900 Obo pickup in DeSoto,MO.”

“1946 Jeep cj2a Story that came with it this was “The hunting Jeep. Had an engine swap late 70’s early 80’s. Said to have a 350 v8 from a late 60’s early 70’s corvette that had been in a wreck.” Firewall is not cut out.. Very solid.. Little rust.. Engine will need overhauled.. Transmission shifts into gears. Jeep is very much a project. Does not run. Does not drive. Top and doors need reupholstered but frame work is there. Has removable center seat! Needs a new windshield frame and front hubs. This was a running driving unit before it sat in a field for years after original owner/builder passed away. Great start for restoration, needs to go to someone that’ll get to it sooner then I will hate to see it sitting. Trade for aluminum boat or 1962-1973 Ford Truck.”

Has the clutch been converted to hydraulic by using this setup? If so, it’s the first time I’ve seen it done this way.
