Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “New carburetor, new brakes and hub bearings, its in the shop getting a new gas tank and sending unit. Ran out of time to mess with it so kicking it down the road. Runs well. Would make a great hunting rig. Don’t ask me if it still available if the post is up it it’s available. May consider trades for a mule/ farm ATV Silver bullion or 2a items.”

“1946 Willys CJ2A. Former service station Jeep equipped with a plow setup and aluminum half cab. Original “L head” engine had been swapped with a later “F head” engine at some point. Hasn’t ran in about 5 years. It does turn over but I believe the distributor needs to be replaced. All the serial number tags are intact. Body is very rough especially the floors. Frame seems to be in decent shape. Good candidate to fix and use on the property, use for parts or restore with new sheet metal. Plow blade is included. No title just a bill of sale. $2500 obo.”
This is a rolling chassis with a replacement body.

Runs, drives and stops. Asking price includes A 2001 Chevy S10 with a 4.3 V6 that we were going to swap in and a turbo 350 auto transmission. “1948 CJ2A runs amazing. Has rebuilt Chevy 153 4 cylinder, Chevy 4 speed manual transmission, and Chevy steering. Brand new aluminum radiator with shroud, new hoses, and thermostat. Freshly rebuilt carburetor, new brake lines throughout, newer tires, newer battery, new fuel pump/lines/ and filters. Just replaced head gasket, oil pan gasket, and valve cover gasket. Very reliable and a blast to drive.”

Red one has a newer top and has been garage kept most of its life. Great project vehicles. Parts jeep has rotted tub but many good usable parts otherwise. Asking $7500.”
