Bill spotted this refurbed jeep listed as a 1948 CJ-3A. It looks in good shape for the price. The engine has a 3A/M-38/DJ-3A oil filter holder, so either the year or the model is incorrect.

One of these is listed as a 1941, but both look civilian to me. The blue jeep appears to be an ex racer.

This is a mix of parts, including a DJ-3A body, a CJ-2A windshield and an M-38 grille. The chassis might be DJ-3A as well.

“46 Willies CJ2A. 231 V6. New battery, radiator, carburetor, ignition, headlights, fuel tank, and fuel lines with filters. Runs great. Has been in doors for many years. Rough around the edges with some light body damage over the years. Comes with a roll bar and soft top with doors and an overdrive to add on. Still working on electrical for light and dash system. Not interested in negotiating since it’s coming into car season and I can sell it later.”
This is listed as a 1945 CJ-2A. The frame lacks frame horns and does not appear it ever had them. The windshield is not from a ’45. This appears to have a later frame, though someone has installed a 2A grille. Note the break and clutch pedal mods.

“1947 jeep! It’s a running and driving military style jeep. It does need work on the brakes. I put a new clutch in it when I swapped the body. This isn’t a perfect jeep but it very solid. “Up for sale is my 1948, CJ2L (cj2a just longer). This was in the same family since the 50s, was on a private ranch. It has 14 inch wheels, and a stretch from the dealership. I purchased this as a back up plan for a couple trips this coming year incase my other jeep didnt get finished. It looks like I’ll finish my other Willys in time so it’s up for sale. I have a clean and clear title, it runs and drives great has a brand new Joe Jennings rebuilt carb on it, needs some brake work (personally I would do the disk brake conversion- about $450)”
