“1946 willys cj2a. All numbers matching. 134ci 3 speed on column. #35221 have data plates. Best i can tell the only thing missing is rear seat frame and air filter assembly off of carb. Motor turns over by hand and is full of oil. Spark plugs came out pretty easy, have never tried to start it. Has a 12 volt generator. Transfer case engages. Put 15inch wheels on it from a 65′ cj5. Obviously needs work. Floor pans are rusted out. Also have two more hoods, another tailgate, and two 16 inch original wheels go with it. Dont have to sell just wanna see what happens with this post. Would ONLY trade for another running jeep. Cj or yj. Title in hand. Texting works best. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
Has the area by the driver’s side step altered, but that’s no big deal. Looks like a good price. Possibly a former column shift?
“1946 Willy’s 4×4 Jeep. She runs but is old and tired. It was a barn find that I originally put a lot of tlc and money into but have gone on to other interests. So far, I have changed the gas tank, gages, head, fuel pump, carburetor, converted it to a 12v system, along with many other items to get it running and to restore the engine to its original state. The brakes are mush so it still needs some tlc. It’s been sitting for the last couple of years and I no longer have time for it. It looks like it was originally a column shift but has sometime along the way been converted to a floor shift. Please feel free to call if you have any questions.”
UPDATE: Priced dropped to $3190.
(12/10/2014) Has been sitting for a while.
“48 willys civilian she’s been sitting for the past 7 years and was running before then asking 3950obo or trade it will be a fun little project we just lost interest in it . shoot me a call for questions”

UPDATE: Price dropped to $2800.
(11/12/2014) Title may not match the jeep.
“I have a very nice 48 CJ-3A Willy’s. She sports a sweet small block Chevy engine and power steering. The rest of her remaining drivetrain is still original. The ol’ girl has basically been in storage for over 17 years. I have started and drove her once in while to keep things lubed up. The large tires have great tread but are badly weathered. The body is very straight but has some floor pan rust. The master, wheel calendars and shoes were all replaced last year. A new Best top with doors is included. The seats were entirely rebuilt with new foam and material. This would make a fun weekend toy to play with. I have to many to give her the time deserved so it’s time for her to go to a new home. I have a clean ’48 title that came with it when I bought it but the vin. numbers do not match. I’d really like to get $ 2800 for her but will entertain an reasonably close offer. Please don’t bother me if your not seriously interested. This is an old vehicle that will still need some TLC to become a daily driver.”
This has an “Iron Duke” Buick V6? Looks more like a Buick V6. It has M-38 features, but no battery box lid.
“Selling a 1941 Willys Jeep. It has an Iron Duke V6 Buick engine, chevy truck 4 speed transmission, front and rear lockers, all four locking hubs, upgraded suspension and upgraded steering. Custom bumper with winch and custom tow bar. Very few miles since it has been rebuilt. Please call Scott for a test drive. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
(07/14/2014) Has some updates. I can’t tell what type of front hubs this has.
“!947 Willy’s Jeep with overhead cam 4 cylinder engine. 15″ chrome wheels with 10 x 15 LT super stag Daytona tires with good tread. Also has a small electric 120 x2 winch on the front. Runs good. This would make a great off-road vehicle or hunting rig.”
If this has been garage kept, the body might be pretty sound.
“Jeep Willys 1946 motor runs strong, no frame rust, good history, odometer shows 62000 miles, worth restoring! straight old Jeep. All New brake system, rebuilt wheel cylinders new starter battery Garage kept.”
Seems to be a mix of parts.
“Engine runs but will need attention, it’s been sitting for many years. The brakes were gone through recently.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
Runs, but rough.
“Civilian Model – Starts and Runs

Have title
Fenders and Hood are included, but not shown in picture”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1900.
(02/13/2015) Runs and drives. Could be a good price. Needs fuel pump.
“1946 Willy’s jeep for sale I’ve had this jeep for over 20 years and I don’t do anything with it anymore I’d just rather see it get used runs and drives still has the original flat head in it. The motor and rear end were rebuild in 2003 probably haven’t driven it 150 miles on the farm since then. Body is dinged up has some rust but still drives. The fuel pump went out due to it sitting in the barn so I have a electric one on it at the moment. Do not know where the title is at the moment if i have to get one for you it will take the full asking price plus lost title fees.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
(01/08/2014) “Own a piece of history. This is one of the original Jeeps. This is what the Wrangler and the CJ7 and CJ5 were created from. It’s a CJ3B frame and F-head “Hurricane” engine under a CJ2A body using a 3″ body lift. It has been garage stored for the last 12 years after the rebuild. The soft top and doors are included. Also, comes with a Factory Service Manual”
There seems to be value here.
“1947 CJ2A Willys Jeep For Sale

“Ok, so a 1945 willys jeep. She is in rough shape, but perfect for rebuilding or making that hot rod you always wanted. It has a GPW frame made by ford, meaning its a WII frame, and a CJ2A body(civilian) model. Motor is in good shape and spins freely.
