“ok keep in mind this thing was made in 1947 but it is a driver. it has a 350 v8 motor with a 350 auto trans, factory overland and twin stick transfer case, power stering, power brakes (4 wheel disk), full soft top with doors, a bikini top, capet and good seats. the roll bar in the pics is removable. i will post more detailed pics soon. and yes i do have a title.”

“This is a totally restored rust free 1946 Willys CJ-2A that runs great and is a blast to drive. (Sorry about the pictures but it started to snow). This vehicle sat around in a dry parts depot in Texas for about 50 years before it was purchased and restored by a car dealer in Houston about 4 years ago. I’ve driven it about 900 miles since it was completed-the mileage on the odometer is correct. It has the original chassis, drivetrain, body, tub, and seat frames. As you can see from the pictures, there is no rust anywhere.
The original engine was replaced with a 4 cylinder Ford OHC Pinto Engine. Top speed now is somewhere just north of 50 mph-going downhill with a tail wind :). It has the original three speed transmission with overdrive which makes driving on city streets much easier. I replaced all of the gages with NOS models that all are functional. Also added a new battery, electronic ignition and trailer hitch. The 35″ Super Swamper Tires have less than 1,000 miles on them. Never used the Ramsey winch or had the vehicle off road. We keep it at our cottage in Norther Michigan and just use it to drive around the country roads and run errands . . . View more on eBay”

Original drive line with good engine, transmission, T-case, etc… Nice Blue paint approx 10 years old. Original 6 volt system. No rust. Very good body. New windshield frame, seat frames and Beechcraft seat cushions w/ rear seat. Includes tow bar and rear tow hitch. I bought it 3 years ago as a project and but have not found time for it. Parts included but not installed include new windshield cowl, glass, insall kit; new seats, cushions, seat belts. Great father/ son project. $4,200 OBO”

“i have a 1946 Willys Jeep Cj2a. It has the original Flathead four cylinder engine that runs. It has been converted to 12 volt. Its has only 28000 miles on it. ALOT or new parts. Over $500 in parts Needs some work and some tlc but still runs and drives. Would make a good trail rig/ mud bogger or a restoration project. Motor alone sells for 500 running. The 4×4 works and everything shifts through perfectly. Original jeep rollbar.”

This is a collectable Willys very good shape, lock in original front hubs, split transfer case hi/low/neutral. Everything works, will climb almost anything. Has been converted to a 12 volt system. Must see to appreciate. This Willys is located near Apache Junction, Arizona, buyer must arrange own shipping or pick up from my residence. Buyer must pay 20% of final price to hold until pick-up arrangements are made and then final payment in full before pick-up. I purchased this Jeep to use for rockhounding in the Arizona desert and decided that it could cause damage to this old classic, and it is a bit too rough riding for my wife and I to use. “$6500 with winch, or $6000 without winch, would rather sell without winch. Up for sale is a 1947 Willys Civilian Jeep, with a later model F-head engine. Engine, transmission and transfer case were rebuilt about 1,200 miles ago, new cooper tires put on about 300 miles ago (some older pictures have the old tires) nice best-top brand top with doors, very good shape, runs great, shifts great, starts up every time with no problems, ask any questions you’d like, happy to answer. Has minimal surface rust, no holes or cancer, no major dents or cracks in body, fenders were strengthened at some point with some l-stock steel. Has a suspension lift to fit 31″ tires and bigger f-head engine, center seam under hood has been cut and a small portion of the firewall has been trimmed to accommodate, has holley carb. All gauges work, all electrical works. Has a newer heater. Has hand operated Beebe Bros 2 ton winch that works very well, haven’t seen many of them around, is currently off of the jeep. I love this jeep but I feel like it’s too nice for me to smash around rocks and trees in so I’d rather have something a lot rougher to mess with. Has full roll bar under top, locking ammo can storage compartment between seats, back seat will need some tlc, front seats in great shape with no tears or wear, windshield wipers run off of vaccuum, has tow hitch, comes with one brand new army green jerry can and holder which is mounted to tailgate. Includes one spare tire mounted on side. Electrical is a 6v system. Engine leaks a little oil, I assume some bolts need to be tightened after breaking in from the rebuild. “tryin to get ready to move and has to go!!!!!1947 whilly it does run and drive,not fast but does RUN!!!!! the drivetrain is all original except electric fuel pump and a Chevy 12v alt. Mount and good alt,but need wired and diff fully.( I do not have the 6v charging system NON of it, all gone when I got it). flat head 4 run out good and sounds really really strong for Being this old I drive it bout a mile every couple months to keep all lose, I drove it last week!!! I dont wont to waste my time or yours goin over all pros/ cons as can see body not great but its their the windshield still folds up and down does have crack oil pressure and temp only things that work breaks r froze up and I have lights and switch I wont 700 obo for it but i know what the title with original motor worth by it self is worth. I got some miner parts for it but not much,extra carb and 12v headlights and wires switch all in a bag.them 2 flat tires will hold air but one is trashed tube is cut im bout to put a tire on it to move it. I keep the motor covered with a jeepsoft top window cause the valleys on top of block for spark plugs the seem in hood leaks so I keep the water out to help persevere it”

“For sale 1946 jeep cj2a. Motor has been removed completely gone through. New oil pump, new fuel pump, new valve guides, new carb, new motor mounts, Too many other new parts to list. Radiator rebuilt by Hals, motor was running when removed to freshen up. Comes with New after market Willys stamped tailgate and under seat tool box. Second motor, two additional bodies, second complete frame with original wheels and running gear (everything short of a transmission to make a second 46) new body panels from jeep panels plus (see pics) I have a title for the main jeep and one of the other bodies has a MVD tag.
Koeing hard top with doors, two roll bars, swing away tire carrier. Many additional aftermarket and original parts.
Will trade for running CJ5 or CJ7

(11/14/2012) This looks nice. It has a clever spare tire holder that uses part of the PTO bar. It’s worth a look. The custom undercarriage is lower than usual.
” 1947 Willys CJ2a. This is an easy driver for anyone. It was built for my mother to drive around. It has all the great Willys jeep modifications including:
Saginaw power steering
Buick 231 V6
Dana 44 rear, Dana 27 front, 3:73 gears.
Turbo 350 automatic transmission with single stick Dana 20 transfer-case.
Adjustable front bucket seats (Drivers side has the wheel-well “notched” for more adjustment room- I am almost 6’3″ and can drive this comfortably.
Vent in windshield frame that can be opened for air flow (See pics)
Dome lights wired in hard top
M38 Military lightweight Arctic Top.
Swing out spare tire (see pics)
Two “stock style” gas tanks on passenger and drivers sides.
Near NEW tires
This Jeep was never used off the road. It will get around town and fly down the freeway just fine. This is a really snappy rig and will take off at the drop of hat. It gets lots of looks going down the road. The only trouble is the gas gauge which needs worked on and a small chip in the windshield which has a “glass sticker” on it to keep it from spreading. Please ask any questions. I am selling this in cooperation with my father.
The work was completed about 10 years ago on the jeep. It has always been garaged and rarely driven in the rain. It was a spring and summertime driver.
Alas, it’s top will keep you warm and dry (has heater and defroster). In heavy water (such as during washing or heavy rain) some water will gather in the front floor boards. We always just put a towel down there when washing. Someone could easily track the source of the water getting in, we just never did as it was a nice day driver.”
