“For Sale, this is a good, solid ole jeep. It has the original 4 cylinder flat head engine and everything, including the 4wd, works. It won’t win any races, but it will climb a telephone pole! We have used it many years on the ranch for hunting and building fence. I had plans of restoring it but thats not going to happen in the near future. We recently bought a UTV (because my wife and mother don’t like the standard tranny on the jeep) and we are not using this jeep like we need to. I hate for a machine to set without running so we have decided to sell it. It is ready to go to work or would be a good restoration project.”

(03/01/2012) “I have a 1947 Willy’s Jeep project. It is rough. The front drive line is missing, the clutch & brake pedals are frozen to the floor, the fenders ARE there, not bolted on. It has a Chevy 350 in it, NOT RUNNING. The electrical system needs to be finished. There are no seats in it. The body has surface rust, but NO places eaten thru. It needs a lot of work! I’m letting everyone know now that it is no where near road ready. But does have a lot of potential. It has the rare hardtop, & power take off, it has a winch. The passenger side door is a little bent. So if you call me & want to take a look that’s great! But if I have someone telling me all the things wrong with it or try to give me $500, I’m going to simply say “have a nice day get off my property.” I’m tired of all the ridiculous people w anting it for free. The transmission & transfercase alone are worth $750. Also I am selling it AS-IS, no guarantees. It is on a NON – OP, I am selling it with a bill of sale only. “I am selling my 1948 willys jeep. Needs to be restored. All complete. Its been sitting for a few years, still very solid! 6 volt system. “1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A: This Jeep is in the process of a frame-off restoration. It is not finished yet…but a lot of the hard work is done. The engine is rebuilt. It has a new carburetor, radiator, all tune-up items, belts, hoses, etc. It comes with new floors. The frame is painted (has a few scratches). The body is sandblasted and ready for minimal rust repairs and floor replacement. It comes with a Skyjacker suspension lift (as well as the factory suspension), roll bar, etc. Lots of new parts are included (brake parts, bearings and seals, etc.). It is complete other than a few little things missing (easy to obtain parts). I also have a manual printed in 1966 from Jeep that will be of assistance. The Jeep has a lot of potential and will make a great project. This is a rare toy.

(09/11/2011) This jeep certainly looks nice, but I can see nothing to suggest this is a 1945 CJ-2A. To me it looks like it might be a CJ-3A, but maybe the frame is from a ’45.
“This is a 1945 Willys CJ-2A World War II vehicle with the 4-cylinder gas engine and a 3-speed manual transmission. It was restored about fifteen years ago and has been under boxes in my mother-in-laws garage since. She has driven it maybe 50 miles a summer though has religously started it a couple times a month. The engine puts out 60 horsepower and this Willys weighs about 2200 pounds. It starts right up and drives nice. It does have turn signals and is street legal. 4-wheel drive works and it gets lots of attention everywhere it goes. It is a 2A but does have a 3A windshield. Has original owner’s manual. $13,500”

“1946 CJ2A for sale. Virtually complete. Stock engine, transmission, tcase and 6v electrical system in place. Has non-stock rims and 33″ tires. Two tires hold air just fine, one holds air for a bit, one is destroyed. I’ll be removing the seats and the stock rim/tire before a sale. Willing to provide more photos and info if you’re interested.”

For a ‘fully restored’ jeep, this doesn’t look particularly clean. But, it might be solid.

Seat Frames intact, Jeep does run and drive (sort of, needs some tinkering). The brakes do work, and with a few months of tinkering you could drive it on the road.
Body is in OK shape, frame has been patched but is solid now.
Jeep also somes with a Spare GOOD body, fenders, hood, grille, Buick Offenhauser 4-Barrel intake, as well as a GOOD spare frame, axles, steering…..
The deal with the TITLE:
I have the previous PA title, which I have signed, yet i have not applied for a MA one. If you wish, I can apply for a title, pay the sales tax and title fee, and then sell it to whomever buys it. It will cost approx. $300 to do this, so for $1500you get a titled Flat Fender

“1946 Willys CJ2A. Running, complete, original, clear title, with current registration. With an extra L-engine and new, uninstalled Best Top
Done: Engine compartment cleaned, fresh fluids, block painted gray, new battery, new fuel pump installed, rebuilt carb installed, recored radiator, new muffler, and new 6v ignition and hose sets installed. Cleaned and painted the gas tank too. Body is straight, frame is straight. No major rust. Only major hole is at the bottom of the toolbox.
Needed: New tires (I have all 5 OEM wheels), new brakelines, connect the brakelight, install seatbelts (or not), connect the fuel gauge, get the wiper working, and new seals along the drive and prop lines. Doing all this will make a safer vehicle, but not change the way it drives, which is fine. Then new front seat cushions and covers, adding a rear bench, and installing the BestTop (that I have) or not, and anything else cosmetic.
A real straight unaltered (sloppy paint on top of the original farm green) flat-fender Willys.
