Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The VIN of 151899 and the year of 1946 don’t quite match.
“I have for sale a 1946 Willys Jeep. It runs well and has had a recent engine rebuild. The engine is not original to the Jeep. Frame tag is missing. Also needs glass for the windshield, which is a new repro unit. Jeep has a factory PTO in the rear. Included is an extra frame and running gear/engine for spare parts. Please ask for any additional info if you need it.”

“This Jeep is in great shape for its age. Motor has been completely rebuilt with all maintenance records to show it. Runs and drive great. All original body. Comes with spare tire and original gas cans. Fold down windshield. 3 spd w/ high/low. 4wd works great. Has been converted to 12 volt.We still have all parts to convert back to 6 volt if wanted. Also has an electric fuel pump. Hard to find classic. This thing is just flat out cool. Call or text me if interested. “Reluctantly up for sale is my 1940’s jeep cj2a. This fun little truck comes with a hard top, two new front fenders, windshield frame, and extra rims and tires. The jeep still has the original 3 spd stick, and flathead four cyl. I have been running this for a few years now on family land and do not have it registered.
