“1947 Jeep Willys. 283 Chevy V8, 33″ Tires with a full size spare, Currie Enterprises Ford 9″ rear end 5.73 gears & 35 spline axles (receipts for rear end total $2600), Dana 30 front, bucket seats in front with 5 point harness, bench seat in back with lap belts, optima red top battery, painless wiring kit, power steering, kc lights, fire extinguisher, two 5gal fuel cans that mount in the jeep, superlift springs, T-90 3 Speed tranny, T-18 twin stick transfer case, high lift jack that mounts to the front bumper, brand new Autometer Sport Comp gauges (not installed) worth over $300 included, I also have a couple bins of spare parts to go with it. (08/15/2011) As the seller realized, it is never good to find a main bearing in the oil pan. This has the wrong tailgate, too.

“I have to get rid of my Willys to pay off my Rubicon, times are tuff. This is a 1948 Willys CJ2A it has a good deal of rust on some parts of the body, some of the pictures show the rust. I bought this car to restore it and add it to the Jeeps I own, but now I need the money to keep my Rubicon.The tires are not really any good, the motor is not in the best shape I took the oil pan off to see if it was a good idea to try and start it but I found what looks like the main bearing in the oil pan so I stopped work on it. I cant tell alot about the jeep, I think the seats I have for it are not correct, I dont think he gave me the correct gas tank. I do have a clear title, if the Jeep goes for over a thousand dollers I will throw in some extra parts I have for it, New wheel brake cylnders, Data plates etc.. If it sells for over a thousand dollers I will deliver it within 150 miles of area code 29680.”

The body is dinged and full of hay, but appears sound.

“You are bidding on a 1946 Jeep Willys. The odometer says 77036 miles, but not conformed since I am not the original owner. I can tell you that everything as well as all gauges work and Jeep runs great, it also has new tires as well as a new top. Wining bidder will have to arrange for pickup or shipping THEMSELVES. ”

UPDATE: Randy bought this.  He said it came with a rare louvered hood. He has everything to put it back together, though the project will take a while to complete as he has another big project ahead of it.  You can see his other jeeps here.  Congrats Randy!

It appears to include a winch.  There is value here.
