“1947 CJ2A $1200.00 FIRM…. 134 L-head 4cyc engine, T-90, 3 speed manual trans, Model 18, 2 speed t-case. This will be a great project car, it doesn’t run and it needs a frame up resto. Engine, trans, transfer case, diffs, driveline included. Mostly all original parts, right down to the steering wheel. Complete vehicle, just needs to be fixed. I was told that all numbers match, I’ve never looked. There are no major modifications, wheels and tires are not original, tires are flat. This Jeep had been sitting for decades is the Santa Clarita area, until I moved it to northern NV. There is surface rust, no body rot or cancer. There are corner plates on the back. These are bolted on and can be removed.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800.
It’s a parts jeep. Note the later model drive train from a CJ-5. I’m not sure what’s attached to the back of the jeep.
“clean out garage have to may project going on 1947 willys jeep for sale NO TITLE . Has dauntless v6 last run last summer .. All jeep drive train form a cj5 have everthing .”
This runs and is supposed to be 98% rust free. Might be a good deal. That’s not the original engine, but at least there’s no hole in the hood!
“I am selling my 1947 WILLYS jeep. The jeep is 98% rust free and original. THe jeep is in real nice shape for its age it has been stored inside most of it’s life but it has been sitting outside for the last few weeks. The jeep does run and run good. it does need some brake work (shoes) which I have brand new ones just have not had time to put them on. It also has a front mounted tow bar. I am asking $1700 FIRM might do some trading. I will post pics soon.”
There’s been some mods to this.
“Jeep has brand new 35″ pro comp xtreme rock crawling tires. New front steering stabilizer. Dana 44 rear end with detroit locker with new axle bearings and seals. Front has new ball joints. Has soft top and bikini top. Has cj5 doors that do fit. Al new gauges and they all do work correctly. Dana 20 transfer case and granny low 4 speed tranny. Chevy 283 thats ben built up. Has Holley Model 1850 carb. At idle it has around 60 psi of oil pressure. Runs and drives great. Jeep is in great shape. Can send pics upon request. 812-664-8279”
There’s little I find interesting, except those headlight bezels. Those look like 5 1/2 bezels in reasonable condition. NOT easy to find!
“First year of the civilian Jeep. Rusty. Has drive train. Other Willys parts available. Email for more pictures. Cash or Paypal”
It appears rear lights have been added to the sides of this.

“I have these two old relics, ready to add to your yard art collection, or perhaps to help breathe life back into your other Willys Jeep project. No VIN’s, no tags, no title. For parts salvage value only. Must be towed away. One is what is left of a 1948 CJ2A, and the other is a 1951 CJ3A. One extra poly fuel tank, one has a PTO (big), one has a Buick V6, the other has the original rare Hurricane six. Trashed and tired, still cool. $300 cash money. Van Nuys location.”
This has been lovingly ‘restored’; however it is missing the front running lights.
