(04/13/2015) Runs and drives, but doesn’t stop well.
“Willys CJ3B Jeep 1953 Runs & drives needs brakes, leaks oil from the rear main and smokes body has rust in the usual spots.”
Looks like parts vehicles.
“This listing is for 2 Willy’s Jeeps. I know very little about these, I’ll do the best I can to field any questions.
We do not have titles for these vehicles. We are selling these as parts only and have no way to acquire a title. They were donated to our charity. We will of course provide a bill of sale. We had a mechanic do a once over on the one with the body off to the side and he said that it had good compression in 3 cylinders and low in the 4th cylinder. We also installed a new starter.
The oil looks great and was recently changed.
The other Jeep engine oil is milked, but appears in solid condition. LOTS more pictures here: http://www.v8s10.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=39657”
Looks good.

(02/05/2015) Looks like there’s some value here.
“Clean and clear Arizona Title. I have both the VIN plate and shift diagram plate that go on the dashboard. Location and Contact info at bottom of post.
I am not parting this out. This sale is for the entire vehicle and it’s spare parts. Most of the parts are present. The only known missing parts for a complete vehicle are: driver and passenger seats/frames, windshield glass, and all rubber hoses, seals, seams etc. I have not done any work on this so I cannot say if the engine/transmission/axles are any good. I bought it in Phoenix. I heard it came from northern AZ.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
(08/31/2011) The dash on this looks particularly unusual.

This is an interesting 3B. It’s got a replacement tub. The side bar has an unusual swoop that must act as a step. Labeled a 1951, it might be a CJ-3A chassis?
“You are bidding on a 1951 Willy’s Jeep. It was purchased approximately 3 years ago as the foundation of a custom off-road/rock crawler vehicle. It has nearly new heavy lugged off road tires, custom built roll cage with side skids. The cage and skids were professionally built. The jeep body is in very good condition for being 64 years old. It has a custom gas tank with custom seats (see photos). The vehicle was scheduled for a complete ground up custom build. A death in the family forces sale. It was running and was drove to the spot where it is parked. It has the Commando OHV engine. No Battery … sold as is. Front axle needs differential work. Some other parts are included, top bows/doors/ and a variety of other small parts. ”

“For Sale – 1955 Willy’s CJ3B – This vehicle is being sold as part of my Father’s estate. This vehicle is a 1955 CJ3B body on a 1946 CJ2A frame. The vehicle does not currently run. My Father had the main assembly done on the vehicle, but it does need the gas tank plumbed and wiring done to it. I’m also pretty sure it needs driveshafts done for it. Here are some of the components for it that I can recall –
Dana 30 front axle, Ford 9 Inch rear axle, 33×12.50 BF Goodrich At’s, Ford 302 Small Block (rebuilt), Ford T-18 Tranny and an Atlas T-Case. Please contact me and I will answer any questions as best that I can, or setup a time to look at the vehicle yourself. Thanks.”
This just appeared on Facebook. There appears to be a late model CJ-3B brush jeep, a CJ-3A, and a M-38A1. The dark 2A/3A is not for sale. There are supposed to be other parts as well. For those not on Facebook, the seller’s name is Barb watson number and her phone number is 513 304 0141
Given the half top, there seems to be value. Starting bid is $900.
“I am selling a 1954 Willys Jeep. Jeep is in need of work to get it running but many original parts are included. Jeep has plow frame but no plow. Frame is in good shape. What you see in the pictures is what you get with the jeep. Tires are flat so buyer is responsible for transporting jeep from location. Jeep has original title.”
UPDATE: Was $8000. **SOLD**
“For sale is a 1985 Mitsubishi Jeep 4X4 with diesel engine.
This is a Mitsubishi clone of the CJ 3B Jeep; it has the two stick transfer case four speed transmission, lock out hubs, front and rear Power Take off, power brakes, radiator bug screen with chrome chaff guard,. heater and defroster, new tires, soft top with doors and a top for the summer time.
I have owned this for about 4 years it was imported into the USA by usdriveright./com and I bought it and had it delivered to me, this is 100% street legal, I have it insured through state farm.
It runs like a dream, it has glow plugs and starts every time.
The engine is used in Mitsubishi forklifts so it is industrial. (4DR5)
It is right hand drive like a mail jeep.
I do not know the actual miles because it is in kilometers and was imported from Japan but everything is very tight. This thing runs really good and does very economical for fuel, I have driven it around Topeka and get 35 to 37 MPG, It will go 60 mph but I do not like going that fast however 45 is very comfortable.
I took it to the cruse in car shows last year and it gets plenty of attention.
I have five of the original wheels, four are on the ground and one is in the garage, I have four aluminum wheels that will go with this, one of them is already mounted on the spare wheel.
This has a mount to attach your high lift jack.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $850.
Seller won’t part out.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $1050.
(09/26/2014) It runs, but needs work to be road worthy.
“61 Jeep CJ3B. Engine and drive train are ok but the body needs replacing. Mileage on odometer is 42,000 and believed to be correct. This Jeep has spent the last 23 years sitting outside. Will start right up when the carburetor is primed but is not roadworthy. The frame and underpinnings are solid making this a great restoration project. Other than the 31″ rims and 2″ lift it is original. I have new brake lines and carburetor that will convey. All parts are available through KaiserWillys.com. To many projects so this one has to go. Is registered and I have a clean title. “
