UPDATE: **SOLD** $2700. Paul pointed out that his probably has a ventilating windshield.
Runs and drives. If the rust isn’t bad, it could be a reasonable price.

“Was using it as a plow but the engine locked up but I have a engine to put in it just dont want to bother putting in as i have a plow on my 2018 jeep”
Given the half top and the plow, there should be value here.

Mike spotted this odd combination of parts. It’s a fiberglass CJ-5 replica body on a 1966 VW Chassis powered by a 16hp Kohler air cooled engine. Starting bid is $6000.

This could interest someone. Rims, fenders, hubs and a PTO winch all look good.

“I bought this jeep to make a crawler out of and have since decided not to pursue that. I have a few extra Willys parts that I can include for a reasonable offer.
The good:
The outer skin on the body is pretty straight one fender is very straight and the other fender is not bad . It has locking hubs both axles are complete it has a PTO winch that is complete with a driveshaft.
Most importantly it has a clean Oregon title and Vin number.
The bad:
There is essentially no floorplan on the driver side passengers isn’t much better. And the frame is actually rusted badly around the drivers foot well.
For my intended purposes, which was using the Vin number and the outer skin and sheet metal it was perfect.
Jeep is located 90 miles south of Bend. I could possibly help with delivery if I have to.”
Tom’s selling his nice looking CJ-5. For more info, contact him at thjones36@gmail.com.

“A 1967 Jeep CJ5. Bought this as a basket case and took it down to the frame. Frame and axles were cleaned and painted with POR15. Axles drained, cleaned out and refilled. Transmission is rebuilt by Herm-the-Overdrive guy. Brake lines all new and professionally installed, all new brake components. Rims cleaned and powder coated with new all-terrain tires installed.
Tub was removed cleaned and painted with year correct paint, undercoated with an asphalt sealer. New gas tank and lines installed, carburetor rebuilt. The entire electrical system is all new. Re-built Dauntless V6 installed, however compression is a little lower than it should be. Runs well but needs tweaked to get it running better. New exhaust system, new alternator, new gauges, new windshield, new Smittybuilt XRC 9.5K winch on an aftermarket bumper and new seats.
Like most of these will need a little tinkering to bring it up to it’s full potential but all the hard, and expensive stuff has been done. I have extra parts and an extra engine (that needs rebuilt) to go with it. Clear title. Have over $14.000 into it at this point but just don’t have the time to keep up with it and drive it. I’m probably forgetting lots of other things I’ve done and installed but you get the idea.
Hope to find it a good home. I’ve had a blast with it.
Can help with delivery if within 200 miles.”
Roger Martin forwarded this unfinished project. Maybe there’s some parts value here for someone?

Nice cage built

Ted shared this unusual blend of a Surrey and a Tux Park. It sure looks nice. The seller doesn’t mention that the Surrey upgrades are incorrect for this model, but the seller is correct that if you want something unique to bring to a jeep event, this qualifies.

“1965 Jeep CJ-5A Tuxedo Park Mark IV – An “upscale” Jeep was named after the upscale Tuxedo Park in New York, which was the birthplace of the tuxedo. Elvis drove a similar Jeep in the 1965 movie “Tickle Me” which also starred Julie Adams. Tuxedo Park Jeeps were also driven in President Lyndon Johnson’s inaugural parade in January, 1965.
This special edition Jeep came standard with chrome bumpers, wheel covers, column shift, fold-down rear license plate, fold-down windshield, and a little more highway-friendly rear gear. Standard running gear is a 4-cylinder engine and 3-Speed manual transmission. Optional equipment on this one includes the surrey interior & top, 4-Wheel-drive, and “full” passenger seat. It has been retrofitted with seat belts for safety. Just like Elvis’ Tuxedo Park, this one is finished in Marlin Blue. Continue reading

The body work on this appears well done. It’s got some non-jeep rims on it. I’m wondering if those front rims have been enlarged so that the rims would fit over the hubs.

“Willys cj5 runs and drive’s. Barn find restored a few years ago and stored since. Previously sitting since 1970. No body filler, had panels cut out and replaced. Transferable registration”
You can either buy the Meyer top for $500 or the entire post-1971 jeep for $2500.

“Selling my CJ5 jeep top and doors , whole Jeep is for sale for right price too, 500$ for top or $2500 for whole Jeep!”
It’s unclear if if either of these are running or not. The CJ-2A is priced at $4000 and the CJ-5 at $8750. The prices were calculated based on a vehicle appraiser. Looks like the appraiser doesn’t know jeeps and misled the owner on their value. You can see lots of photos at https://judysjeep.com
“1947 Willys Jeep for sale. Have the pink slip – not registered. Original owner. Has some surface rust. Had appraisal done by auto appraisal company. Jeep was used on a ranch and then stored in a barn. Currently stored inside a facility.”
