Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Recently acquired but don’t have the time to mess with it. Last on the road in 1969. The previous owner had started restoration but did not finish it. I was told the motor has been rebuilt however I am unable to verify. It appears to be mostly complete but it’s best to come and look for yourself. “Mostly restored 1964 Jeep Willys. New transmission and transfer case with Novak parts and kit. New clutch. Completely original. Motor was rebuilt about 10 years ago. T90 transmission, Dana 18 transfer case. F134 motor. Last year of the Willys Jeep. Originally came from California so very little rust if any. 17,900 original miles. I have driven this Jeep all over Montana, and Nevada. It does not have the top, but one can be purchased with doors for around $900.00. Also included is a custom quick release tow bar.”

A rare non-Texas hunting jeep with a full and raised rear seat.
“Original inline 4 cylinder (F134) engine, manual three speed transmission; all gears and drive ranges (2-hi, 4-hi, 4-low) work well with no issues.
Was 80% restored about two years ago; in good mechanical condition, but it has sat in a pasture for the last year and a half or so. Needs some TLC but still a great hunting jeep. Paint is still in decent shape but showing some rust here and there. No frame/underbody rust.
Electrical system has been converted to 12V, running a GM alternator. Needs some carburetor tuning, but starts and runs well.

“This is a 1969 Jeep CJ5. It was used as a snow plow and comes with all the hydraulics and parts except for the plow it self, also comes with an extra set of 5 original tires and rims. It has a new windshield frame, no windshield and THE original steel hard top AND matching doors. The motor runs and the transmission shifts very well. The rear breaks are out but the fronts are new. Has working transfer case and both axles are good. I recently drove it around the block and it had no problems but it is not road worthy. This Jeep is great for an offroad project or a donor for your own project. I want to sell and i’m ready to negotiate too.’
