UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $3200.
Seller has melded a flat fender body and CJ-5 body, though does note it in the description.
“1959 Jeep CJ5 The frame and drive train are late 50’s. I had the (F head) engine rebuilt when I first bought it in 2006. I took the trani/transfer case to a trans shop and they went through it to make sure everything was ok. I had a seal replaced in the rear end at the shop where they rebuilt the engine. The frame and drive train are in really good shape. The body is not perfect. The Jeep was made to look like a ’49 Willys CJ2A. The body was added and lifted up about 3″. It starts right up, purrs like a kitten and always passes inspection.”
Mark just posted this as sellajeep.com.
“4wd, Hurricane 4cyl F head engine, 3 spd transmission, After market hard top (probably sears) and bikini top. roll bar and seat belts. Current registration and state inspection. Professionally rebuilt original starter and generator, new shocks, brake pads and slave cylinders all around with turned drums. New U joints and bearings on front end.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000
“Not sure exactly what I have here yet. I’m a car guy and have never seen one of these. This Willys is a very rare bird. I do not have a title. Lost in Korea I guess. It is obtainable. Spent the last 30 years on the ranch. Well taken care of but hasn’t run in years. It was fine when the owner parked it 10 years ago in his barn. He was then killed when his tractor flipped on him helping his neighbor. Yea, very sad story. It has the Ford 134ci 4 banger. I don’t know if it has the PTO under the body. I drug it out and put it on my property near Jasper Texas. This Willys needs to be in a military collection. If you are serious, I will be dragging it back to my shop in Kingwood next week. Clearly, the fuel system needs flushed, a battery, tune, oil, and Ill bet she fires right up. This price is an as is price. This is not my money. It is for the widow. Any insight will be appreciated. Ill know you are serious when you call me. Thank you for your interest. Willys on the tail gate, Jeep on the fender. This model was made in addition to the CJ2 in 1950. Willys sold the rights to put Jeep on it in 1953. In 1955 the official CJ5 was introduced. Again, I haven’t had time to crawl through it. She will run drive and stop with a little attention. Enjoy fellas….K The blue Jeep is not it. The green one is. I found that pic on the innerweb…The other pics are just cool and sadly not mine. ENJOY….”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200
Runs and plows. Might be a good price.
“Listing for the owner of this Jeep..This one runs good …You have enough time yet to get this boy in shape for more work plowing driveway. Jeep is too rough to restore but frame looked solid and this one has Title…etc
The owner of this Jeep has a Car Trailer as well and can Drop in your Driveway for a FEE..FYI
New radiator was $300 and Tires were $200 not long ago.
This Jeep had a V8-304 and three speed manual and seemed to run good before it clunked out..:D”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,500
(11/01/2014) Needs some work.
“THIS IS COOL HOW MANY 1965 CJ FIVES CAN THERE BE WITH LESS THAN 5,000 MILES? THIS ONE IN A EQUIPMENT SHED, RUNS GOOD , NO BRAKES YET, THIS FOR THE COLLECTOR OR MUSEUM THAT WANTS AN ORIGINAL WILLY’S CJ-5 WITH FACTORY JEEP-A-TRENCH ATTACHMENT, PURCHASED FROM THE FAMILY OF THE ORIGINAL OWNER, NO RUST ON THIS JEEP FACTORY TOP SINCE NEW,”
UPDATE: Still Available
(10/31/2014) The builder extended the front clip to accommodate the longer CJ-5 chassis. Runs.
” have a 52(?) CJ-3b sitting on a 72 CJ-5 running gear. Due to an upcoming move, I just don’t have time for another project…
It has a strong running 360(AMC), three speed manual, D44 rear and I really don’t know what the front axle is. Maybe a D20?
It has a good soft top, and a Bikini top. It also has a tow bar on the front, and is wired for being towed…
It has a full cage, bucket seats and 2 point race belts. I’m thinking it was built as an ice racer, ’cause it just has that look, but not sure.
This would make a great Ice Racer, or Crawler project, or…?
Has a clean Colorado title(as 72 Cj-5)”
Might be worth a look given the hardtop and plow.
“1963 Willy’s Jeep – needs distributor work. Body has some issues. Used as snow plow; has small trailer that goes with it. Call Vern for more detailed info. Also have CJ5 258 with rough body – make offer”
It runs.
“This is a 1956 Willy’s Jeep 4×4 with a 4 cylinder and a 3 speed transmission with high and low range transfer case. It runs and drives but has no brakes. I’m looking to get $1500 or might consider trades.”

Mike has this unusually low mileage CJ-5 for sale — only 6,494 miles.
http://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/4715965600.html
“I have a non-restored 1969 Jeep CJ5 with only 6,494 miles. NOT 64k. I am the second owner, bought many years ago from original owner who only used it to drive in the winter in Utah. Jeep still has the original 5 Goodyear Suburbanite tires on it, although they are weather cracked but hold air (tube tire). The rear deck on CJ5’s is normally beat, dented, rusted, etc but this rear deck is perfect. Never used for hauling.
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $1500.
Top is rough, but it runs and drives.
“1969 Willys CJ5 Jeep
Starts and runs good
Metal top needs some work”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $15,000
(11/20/2014) Nice looking CJ-5. This is from the same collection as the CJ-6 that was available a few days ago.
“Up for auction is an unbelievably original 1965 CJ5 Tuxedo Park with 22,947 original miles. This Jeep has most of its original paint with paint code 226 and trim code of 227. The hood has been replaced due to the original hood being damaged many years ago. The replacement hood is a later style that does not have the typical early CJ water fording cover on the side and the footman loops are in the incorrect location.
This would be an easy fix however to make the Jeep correct again. The hood therefore does not have the original paint nor does the cowl because the paint was blended into the cowl to get a correct match. The Jeep has a 134 overhead four cylinder engine with a 3 speed column shift manual transmission, factory overdrive and 2 speed transfer case.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $15,000.
This former fire jeep has some low mileage.
“I bought this little Jeep Dec. 15, 2010.
Serial number 57548134623
The motor is a ‘JEEP’ 4-CYLINDER F-HEAD “HURRICANE” ENGINE
It had 9,279 miles on it.
Fire Protection District #9 in Nine Mile Falls, WA purchased this Jeep new and date of issue for MOTOR VEHICLE CERTIFICATE OF TITLE was 10/09/61 (I have this document)
This is a very original, clean, rust free little Jeep
Jan. 1, 2012 miles = 10,565
Jan. 1, 2013 miles = 11,409
Jan. 1, 2014 miles = 11,657
Miles on the Jeep today are 11,712
As you can see from the pictures that we simply used it for a casual drive once in awhile, entered it in a few car shows and parades.
I never took this Jeep off roading.
I recorded the odometer every January 1.
My interests have changed and it just isn’t being used any more.
It is time to sell it and let someone else enjoy it!
If you have any questions please call as I am not near my computer most of the day. NO TRADES, Thanks for looking, Bob”
UPDATE: Was $2200. **SOLD**
Given the warn winch and the power locks, this might be worth a look.
“The jeep is in fair condition with some TLC required. There is some rusting and some dents in the body. Needs brake job on the 11 inch brakes. It runs, is drivable and oily. Jeep has a Warn winch, Power lock front differential, power track lock rear differential, full roll cage, like new soft top and many spare parts. If you are looking for a restoration project or a woods/ mud vehicle you should come check out this jeep. Worth more for parts than the asking price.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
Listed at $2500, seller says he’ll take $2000. To title and some funky bumpers, but if the floors are solid this might be worth it.
“1963 CJ 5 Jeep. Runs and drives. Has working winch. Nice bumper guard. 4 wheel drive. Good tires. V6. Needs brakes. Top is removable. Gun rack in back window. Need it gone.
Askin $2500 first one here with at least $2000 its theirs. No title- bill of sale.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
(09/16/2014) It’s a project.
“I have for sale a early Jeep CJ5. It is pretty plain with some rust. What makes it special is this is a factory DIESEL Jeep. It came from the factory with a Perkins 4.192 diesel engine! If I am not mistaken, this is the only model Jeep CJ or Wrangler that was sold in America that had a diesel engine. There were less than 300 ever produced. They made some CJ7’s with diesels, but only in Brazil. The story goes, it was originally made for the Air Force to be used as a tug, one of those vehicles that pulls the planes and cargo around the base. It was then bought by a chicken farmer in middle Tennessee and he had it for the majority of its life. It was then sold to a friend who is a diesel mechanic, which is where I found it.
The Jeep is complete, but it is a 49 year old un-restored Jeep. The frame has a good amount of surface rust on it, but it is still in safe & usable shape. The Jeep tub does have rust, if you are going to restore it, it will need floor pans. It was on a chicken farm for most of its life, remind you, but it is by no means a rust bucket. There are little dings and scratches here and there on the tub, but overall in pretty good shape. The hood, fenders and grill are all solid. As far as interior, it has two original bucket seats, but hardly any covering left on them. The Jeep is now a black color, but looks like the original color was a baby blue.
This sure looks like a nice jeep for the price.

This runs and drives.
“1960 Willy Jeep
4×4
Small V8 Engine
Runs & Drives
Manual Transmission”
This runs, but needs a battery. Body is fiberglass.
“I have a 67 CJ-5 for sale. I had to buy this vehicle to obtain the one I really wanted. I’m 6 ft 4 in and too big to drive this comfortably.I have done nothing to it. It has a fiberglass body with original metal hood. A Dauntless V-6. 3 speed tranny, new tires and rims, new dual exhaust, a plow, frame is solid and painted, speedo works and shows 42,831 miles. I think the roll bar is for a CJ-7, has high back buckets, I did purchase a hard tin/metal top with glass windows and both metal doors with crank windows. Jeep is painted gun metal grey, top and doors are army green and top has lift back window. I drove it home and drove it once more to get the plow blade. That was almost two years ago. It had no battery when purchased and I used mine to drive it. So no battery in it. Put extra Stabil in tank with fresh gas, and fresh antifreeze then also. Asking $6000 OBO. Have more pics. None of top and doors yet. Email geno34bg@gmail.com. located in Custer, OH. NW Ohio”
Looks nice.
“1958 Willy’s Jeep with only 46,000 thousand org. miles. It has been in the same family for 50 years and has been well taking care of. It has been in dry storage for eight years.
The engine was completely over hauled in 1994 and runs just like it did when she was new. ”
