“$6500 or take best offer. Colorado title 1960 CJ6 a little more room than the CJ5 runs, stops, shifts, has L4 2.2 motor, 4×4, all works great. Heater wipers gauges lights all working no issues. CB radio. Driver floor repaired and bed lined. Comfortable seating Newer wheels and tires. bondo on the lower rockers could be fixed. This is a very good daily driver and fun to drive. Will make a great hunting vehicle, farm vehicle or complete restore or drive it the way it is. Did a lot of work on this Jeep to make it a daily. No hurry to sell so really no hurry to take a poor offer. Comes with jerry cans for the back bumper and a front tow bar if you want to tow it long distance”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Was $15,500
“For Sale: 1975 Jeep CJ-6. This is the last year the rare CJ-6 was built for the American market. Rebuild approximately 15 years ago and since then stored inside and never has been in the rain. It has been used to drive around on nice weekend days in the Texas hill country for the last 15 years.
-258 AMC engine
– 3 speed
– Mickey Thompson alloy wheels
– No power steering, no power brakes
– No heat no air conditioning
– Miles unknown as the odometer got stuck.
– Full soft top with doors/Bimini top included as well.
– Has a tow bar that comes with the Jeep.
– Radiator replaced in last 5 years, complete tune up with rebuild of carburetor, replacement of oil inlet unit, and replacement of valve stem seal less than 2 years ago and electrical tune up less than one year ago.
– Fluids replacement all up to date.
– Have bought a new starter, alternator and a thermostat which are boxed up and come with the Jeep as well.
This is not a Jeep for an inexperienced driver, it is not perfect but a great rare Jeep that drives and rides more comfortably than a CJ-5. I am asking $15,500 for this Jeep. Please don’t low ball me and I do not require your assistance in selling.
I am located just west of Austin.”
Blaine spotted this modified jeep on Walker Texas Ranger, season 4 episode 18. My guess would be that it is a 1971 or later CJ-6, but the pic isn’t too clear. Blaine mentioned that the jeep does appear in other scenes, but the only pic he could find was on IMCDB: https://www.imcdb.org/v001243512.html
UPDATE: Still Available.

“Picked up this 1962 willys CJ6 Jeep over the Summer. For a number of reasons, this is a project I am unable to pursue. Odometer shows 8k, probably rolled over once. Has some rust and usuual jeep rot, but in pretty good shape considering. Jeep came from an airplane mechanic and appears to have a good base for a restoration. I was excited to see an original hard top, which I believe are pretty hard to come by. I’ve left the jeep in essentially the same condition I got it, which includes most of the old dudes tools and nik knacks. I think $4000 is a fair price, but feel free to shoot me an offer”
Runs, but needs the power brakes mod examined. Has a Koenig hardtop.

“1965 willys cj6. 90% original. body is in great shape for the age. all glass is good, windows work. starts, runs, and trans. shifts good. has power brakes but they dont work. have a new carburator and a fuel pump kit, but so far havent needed to put them on. motor smokes some. i havent ran it much, might clear up with a little Resolone and an oil change. im waiting on the former owner to find the title. this would be a great jeep to restore. asking $6,000”
Project. Unclear how much value is here. The rear wheel well has been enlarged.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $22,500. Has a Pepsi Surrey look to it: https://cj3b.info/Siblings/SurreyPepsi.html
Sri spotted his pretty Tux park.
“his is one of the rarest jeeps ever made. My understanding is that they only made approximately 460 of the CJ-6A Tuxedo Park Mark IV which has a 20 inch longer wheelbase than the CJ-5’s. This one was originally sold new at Desert Rambler Jeep dealership in Indio California. It has been in a dry California climate all of its life. It has a 134ci in-line four-cylinder motor and a three speed manual transmission on the column. I have just put brand new period correct off-road tires on it.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9800.

“I have a very nice 1974 CJ-6 for sale with a great running 4.2 (258) straight six cylinder. Motor runs perfect and is strong. PO siad it had a rebuild about 4K ago. I believe it. Jeep came out of Colorado and is pretty much rust free and very solid, including hats channels, floors and tool box floor. Very hard to find these in New England or anywhere else for that matter. Original T14, Dana 20, flanged 44 rear and Dana 30 up front with drums on all four corners. Brakes were done by PO and have all new parts, but need to be blead better.
What I have time to do and new parts include new Bestop just installed last year new. 5 ew BFG Mud Terrains 31/1050-15 on Renegade alloy rims. Rims are good from 10 foot away, but could use a good cleaning. Also added last year was a very nice and straight swing tire carrier close to correct era. Jeep was originally cooper metalic, not orange. Full roll bar, nicely done. New full tank. Power steering, but manual brakes. Very comfy seats even for bigger people. Installed new rear emergency brake cables. Awesome running 74 intermediate CJ6.”
UPDATE: Still Available.

“This 1956 Jeep CJ-6 is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle is drivable and is not regularly driven.
Vehicle Details
1956 was the very first year of the CJ-6 production which spanned just under twenty years – and saw just 50,172 built. Based on the serial number, this would be the 417th one built! We had this engine running in the Fall of 2021, but would recommend rebuilding the fuel pump and cleaning the tank etc. Continue reading
