“956 jeep cj-6. Body in extremely great condition for the age of this little guy. There is no rust on the frame, body, or axles that I can find. In the pictures that is a tiny bit of mud underneath. The body is solid. The frame is solid. If you are looking for a good body this is it. The compartment under the seat is rust free and snaps down just as it should. The glove box is missing and it needs the little latch. I have a clear Colorado title. The tires are 90% and in great shape.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8900.
“I have owned this JEEP for over 20 years and it has never given me trouble and has always done what is asked of it. Traveling at highway speeds is no problem and it crawls fantastically well. Everything works on this very capable trail rig.
For those not familiar with a CJ-6, this is basically a ’62 CJ-5 that has been stretched 20″ between the door and the rear wheel arch at the factory. This longer wheel base makes the 6 more stable, and have a larger interior capacity than the 5. I am 6’3” and have no problem with legroom in this JEEP.
UPDATE: Price dropped to $4500
(12/17/2104) Brake lights need rewiring.
“This jeep is my daily driver. Runs perfect. It is a rare 1975 Jeep CJ6. Made from 1955 to 1975 most were sent to Swedish and South American militaries. Body is in good shape with one patch below driver door and few holes behind passenger seat. Engine is a 4.2 6 cylinder stock. Have soft top and doors also. Don’t know the mileage as it has a new speedometer. Manual 3 speed tranny. Jeep is my daily driver and runs perfectly. Rebuilt motor few thousand miles ago. Beefy front and rear bumper, with hitch receivers on both ends. Top rack and fold down bench seats. Also have removable seat for rear with seat belts. Back of the tub has a welded in diamond plate. Only things wrong are it needs a parking brake cable and handle, and rewire brake lights. Also, the new speedometer doesn’t have the temperature gauge or fuel gauge hooked up. Body is in good shape with one patch below driver door and few holes behind passenger seat. Bedliner sprayed inside and out. New windshield, starter and alternator.”
Runs and drives.
“1961 willys jeep. Runs great. Was used on the deer lease and around the farm. 4 wheel drive works great. Original motor. Selling because we lost our lease. I have a clear title to it. Asking 2500.00 but would consider a trade for a nice 4 wheeler or lifted golf cart. No junk please. ”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $7500.

(03/06/2014) Check out the chrome bumper. Could this be a Tuxedo Park IV?
“I’m getting older so it’s time to clear out some of the childhood toys. Offered here is a pretty rare Jeep CJ-6 last operational in 1988. I’m 56 years old and I have only ever seen 4 of these including this one, & one in a John Wayne movie. The VIN has a prefix of 8422 making this an extremely rare “Tuxedo Park” model, only 460 of which are reported to have been made.

“From an estate: 1966 CJ6 Jeep, Original V6 engine, Tow Bar, Winch, older repaint, excellent tires, Warn hubs. Owned by last owner for over 25 years, and has always been garaged since then. Was last driven about 10 years ago then parked.
It will be started and brakes repaired before selling. It has a cracked windshield. Body is not perfect, but I could see no rust upon inspection.
As many of you know, this is the rare “stretched” model of Jeep with 20″ added for Safari seating space. It was used for bouncing around the family ranch, but the kids grew up and moved away. Moms says sell the Jeep.”

“Up for sale is my fully restored and customized CJ5. I am the second owner of this Jeep, it was purchased by my Grandfather in 1966, I got it in 1998. He and I finished the frame off restoration in 2001 where we stretched it 20 inches to 101 inch wheel base (CJ6). “I have a 1962 Jeep Willy’s CJ6. Has a new rebuilt original 4 cylinder motor. (F134, I believe it was also called the Hurricane motor). Just picked it up from the mechanic today. Has a fairly recent tranny rebuild. It was rebuilt approx. 2 yrs ago. I would say less than 5K on the rebuild tranny. It would be a good daily driver or a great start to a complete restore. Body is in decent shape. The person I bought it from evidently used some putty to fill in some areas and it is starting to pull off. Pictures show the areas. I have the seat for the back but I was starting to fix some body areas and pulled it out along with the carpet. It also has a decent sound system, currently dismantled at the moment because I needed to build boxes for the speakers. It has a pto driven winch. Its a 3 speed with a splitter. 4X4 with locking hubs. Custom made front and rear bumper. As always have way more invested than what I am asking. In case you are wondering, because CJ6 aren’t very common, it is similar to the CJ5 except it has a 20″ longer wheel base. Any questions feel free to ask.”
Includes an overdrive.
“Here for sale is my 63 CJ6, only 50,000 were made between 1955-83, by comparison 500,000 cj5 s were made during same period. It’s got a flat head 4 & a 3 speed overdrive trans.”
