“Here for your consideration is an April 13th, 1943 Louisville, KY production Ford GPW 1/4 ton jeep. Disassembly was begun so there are some loose parts. Perfect restoration project. Has all four wheels (post war CJ rims with modern street tires) but not pictured. Has a post war early CJ motor that is not seized up. I purchased this almost two years ago but with two other WWII jeep projects this one has to go.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
Lots of rust here. Unclear there is much value.

“Willys Jeep rolling chassis with custom built aluminum body unique vehicle one of a kind just don’t got time to finish it. No motor, trans, or title. Great condition for being from ww2 would make great frame to restore a gpw or finish it as it is.”
The serial number indicates this is a 1943 GPW.

“I have for sale a Ford GPW 119649 that is a project. The engine is not original but a willys motor and is stuck. It has a t90 transmission in it. It has had some body work done on it and the fuel well has been covered. There are many parts that are carrying the F mark. I don’t believe the steering sector is original. What you see is what your getting. No title on this jeep. I have several pictures of this jeep available. This is not a rust bucket”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.

“1942 Ford GPW Script. This is one of the first GPW’s made, and it still has its GPW script on the back. The windshield is not stock, and neither are the seats. The dash is in good shape except it has a hole for an aftermarket radio in it, and the floor was clearanced for a larger transmission. The vehicle has a slight body lift, along with very rare Rancho lift springs. It has a flanged Dana 44 rear end. The frame is fully boxed, and a dual exhaust system is ran from from the engine bay to the back. My best guess is this vehicle is set up for a flathead V8. The serial number is visible, however there is no title for the vehicle. Overall it’s in great condition. The original paint is under the white. No engine/transmission/transfer case. (Wheels and tires pictured not included)”
Not sure about the price on this one, but it is unusual in that it has been widened and lengthened. It is unclear to me what axles this uses.

“1943 Ford BB GPW JEEP. Clear GPW title but I call it the BB for big boy. It is about ten inches wider and about two feet longer then the normal WWII Jeep. For anyone larger that can not fit into a normal WWII jeep, this should fit you like a glove and is for you. Or for other person this has plenty of steering wheel and leg room. It has power steering, power brakes with a four cylinder fuel injected engine with the five speed manual trans.
This bad boy head turner has done 70 mph plus down the highway (speed limit) with more to go, and it rides and handles like a dream. In honor of our military persons and to help make them feel proud as they should, I have had many of our USA Veteran’s (past and present) sign the jeep in there honor.
This is a one of a kind proto type WWII Jeep and I dont think there is another like it in the world. I can work with you to have it shipped, or you can come pick it up and drive it home to any of the 49 states or where you can get to by land. The right top fender has a floor jack and tools that looks like a machine gun”
It’s a project.

“1942 GPW , parts Ford restoration, 1942 Tubb, The Frame numbers, 1942 GPW 79xx, 1942 one of the first Ford frame. Two other Ford frames also. Cj2a grill. No engine, nice fuel tank, new hat channels, Ford script tail pannel, Ford script parts. I’m not selling any parts till the Jeep is gone. Will sell Jeep and parts for $2500 with out the tires and rims. Only responding through CL, to much scams.
To many Jeep projects.”
This GPW has an unusual grille design (patched/repaired?). It has a few other mods, including a CJ head.
