This Willys retains much of its originality (even has 5 original steel wheels!) but has been modified with the paint, motor and top. This is a piece of history that can be driven every day.
There are lots of CJs and Jeeps out there for sale…why not own a rare one with a story to tell? Very few of these actually made it back from Korea and even fewer are in daily driver condition. This truck needs nothing but a new owner to put it on the road.

“Selling my 1951 Willys jeep. I haven’t used this jeep on a regular basis in a couple of years, I don’t go hunting anymore. Starts, runs, good clean title, currently has Oklahoma non-op tags on it. I bought it with the spring-over conversion already done. I had new drive shafts made for it. It has new brakes, wheel cylinders and brake lines. New wiring and lights, turn signals. Near new 31X10.50R 15’s, new warren hubs on the front. A new gas tank. It sometimes locks up in 2nd gear, that can be a pain. I have a 1989 Jeep Cherokee, 4wd that runs fine, good engine, transmission, transfer case and rear end. My intention was to put the running gear from the Cherokee into the Willys, I’ve lost interest in the project. This is a package deal, you’re buying both jeeps. Asking $2800 obo. It’s not WWII, but it appears in very good shape. It’s listed as a ’49, but is at least 1950.

(01/28/2012) This needs some work and a few parts.
“1951 M38 military Jeep. Was running and driving up until this winter, I decided to start restoring it and it kinda got put on the back burner. All it will need to run and drive is a new wiring harness and seat frames. It has no rust and will be a relatively cheap restoration. It has been stored indoors and is in very good shape for the age. I have all the original parts and vin/military plaques. Only original parts missing are seat frames and correct steering wheel. I just need to make room in the garage, so it has to go.”
