“This is a rare Willys M38A1 Marine Corp Radio Jeep. A limited quantity of these vehicles produced with this radio setup. The radio is still in the dash.
The body of the Jeep is in very good condition. There is some minor rust spots on the hat channels. The Jeep is in good running condition. It is still 24 volt and all original under the hood, has a new canvas top and canvas seats and is road worthy ready.
This vehicle did not receive a show restoration, but it is a great driver. This is a turn key and drive away Jeep. If you are looking for a get in and go Jeep then this is the one for you.

“Willys Model M38A1 built in 1954. It was restored from an M38A1 that was untouched since its days in the US Army. When purchased, It still had OD paint and the hood and unit numbers were still visible. The body was very good.
The body metal is very good with no rust. This jeep has been garaged since owned. Have Top/bows.
Engine still at 24 volts. All engine accessories are correct. Cranks well, starts right up and runs good. Holds the road very well.
The Jeep has a period correct US Army Radio set with antenna.”

“For Sale: 1962 Willies Military Jeep. 12k original miles. Aside from upgraded wheels/rims, roll cage and seats. Everything is original. 6 volt system has been upgraded to a 12 volt system. No rust, runs great. Originally was OD green. It was painted white when put in service by the civil defense. It has been used as a small brush truck. Winch and tools not included. We received an AFG grant and need to sell this to help pay for the grant. Asking $8500 or best offer.”

“1952 Willy’s Jeep Forest fire truck;
This is a unique fire truck in that it is a Willy’s Jeep AND easily fits in your garage! Former military unit (ex Marines, I believe). Runs and drives great- needs some TLC for the true Willy’s Jeep detail. It appears to be “shop built” either by military or a fire dept. as a fire pumper, but used a “Barton” front mount 500 gpm conversion kit of the day. The side compartments are ex-ammo boxes!

“Painstakingly correct, frame off restoration to return this Jeep back to the original delivered condition. Vehicle is 98% original with New Old Stock (NOS) parts used. Paint color was researched and original military spec color was applied. Canvas consists of a new winter soft top, side curtains, seats, and doors. Have good title with 14,500 mi. on odometer. Engine is a 134 CID “F” head Hurricane that runs great. Included is a RT 67 Radio set with ops manual, antenna, and storage pouch. New exhaust system, brake lines, hoses, rebuilt wheel cylinders, master cylinder, new Carter 4S carburetor, fuel lines, fuel tank. Correct batteries for the 24 volt system, hold downs, and cables. Correct shovel positioned under hood, new dash data plates, and correct gauges. This particular Willy’s has been restored to its former glory using authentic parts. This vehicle would be a real competitor in any military vehicle show.”

Seems to be sitting a little heavy in the front, but that could be the way it’s parked. It’s not been restored to stock specs (brake lights and front parking lights for example), but it looks perfect for a parade or having fun.
