UPDATE: Now on Craigslist
“This truck was converted to it’s present Resto-rod condition using a Chevy Blazer running gear mated to the original Willys frame. It is a great conversion that gets a great deal of attention.
This truck drives fantastic at Interstate speeds.
The renewed interior and carpet is very good with the exception of the racing style bucket seats. The seats were new three years ago, however, the Arizona sun has over baked the fabric. The cushions are in good shape, but the fabric is beyond fixing. New seat covers will be needed.
The paint is in very good condition and looks great up close. Not a 20 footer. It should do well at car shows.”
This truck body is sitting on a short wheelbase chassis.

Nice looking truck.
“For sale is my 1956 willys overland pickup. The truck was given a restoration in 2004 and started life as a ranch vehicle in Wyoming. I have all sorts of documentation to include research and build with original manufacture Manuel’s and repair Manuel’s.
Original engine was replaced Chevrolet I-6 in the 60′s. Vehicle displays 96,000mi. New chroming was done in 2005, as well as color matched bed liner sprayed inside cab; bed; and fender wells. Fuel tank; mechanical pump; sending unit; and fuel filter were replaced in 2011. During that time I also added an eclectic fuel pump to supplement the mechanical (for priming system). Brake service was completed late 2013. Vehicle runs/drives great, I just do t have the time to use it like it should be and between kids and other toys it’s gone on the back burner and doesn’t deserve to be there. This is a very rare truck and I challenge you to find one with this much care for this price. My loss is your gain.
Seller appears to be selling this for the best offer, which is currently $1750. The truck appears solid. It runs.
“Ok all you old vehicle buffs. I have a 1949 Jeep Willy 4WD pickup, all original, 3 on the tree, original 6 volt battery, vacuum wipers and around 50,000 original miles. Used as a trap wagon in Pendleton and I bought it about 30 years ago with the hopes of fixing it up. It runs but needs a new battery, has a flat tire, and inside needs work. Chrome on it still shines. Key is in Montana (somewhere in the garage! lol) so I’m needing to get one made here. I really don’t want to sell it as I love it but if I haven’t fixed it up in 30 years – I don’t think I ever will…….. Bidding as already started at $1500. Please email me if you wish to put in a bid. Thanks for looking. Bidding is currently at 1750.”
This looks good.

“Very rare 1950 flat nose Willys Pickup. My wife calls it “The Bootlegger”. This body style was only made for 3 years. The engine is a running 1952 Studebaker Champion 170 inline 6. Front differential is a Dana 25 and Dana 53 in rear. The tags show the gear ratio as 4:88. Three speed manual transmission with twin stick transfer case. Pickup has a spring over axle lift on it so it sets tall.
The interior has the original seat that need re-upholstered, original door panels in good condition, original arm rests, push button door release, and the one original sun visor on the drivers side.
I have a clean and clear title for the truck. Call or email me with any questions. I plan on taking the truck to the Just Sell It flea market at GCC this Sunday 6-1-14. Tow bar not included.
