“1948 Willys two wheel drive pick-up. Pictures show where I picked it up a couple years ago after it had been found sitting for 30 years. I purchased it from the estate of the original owner. We have cleaned it up a bit, and removed some of the small parts anticipating that we would restore it, but we have changed minds and are going a different direction. Original engine is in it….we have not tried to fire it up. Body is in pretty good shape. This will be really nice when fixed up, or easily converted to four wheel drive. More pictures available upon request. Asking $1500 OBO. Open to offers, and may even consider some trades….no junk though.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $16,000.

“It’s time to pass along one of my favorite trucks to a new owner. I worked on this vehicle with, and eventually purchased it from, the prior owner about a decade ago. The truck is in near show condition. Custom detail inside and out. The interior is amazing. Custom and stunning. This is a show stopper. The only major problem with it, is people want to stop & talk about her every time you park
It’s time to pass it along to someone who can take it around and show it off. It deserves to be out on the show circuit. Please email me to schedule an appointment to view the vehicle. Only interested parties apply.

“This is not a show vehicle but a solid reliable daily driver. I have had the truck for about 13 years. It was originally licensed in Colorado and when I purchased it in Cincinnati it was in original condition but not drivable. It had been repowered probably in the late 60s early 70s with a 1956 Ford Y-block V-8, a not uncommon repower choice in those days. I changed the distributor, plugs and oil and have driven it about 20,000 miles since.
The drive train is original: Dana front/rear axels (front lockout hubs)
T-90 trans/T-18 transfer case rebuilt
Overdrive Warn aftermarket rebuilt
The electrical system is 12v, alternator with new wiring. Paint and Rhino liner new in 2003″
