“I have a 53 willy’s 4X4, mechanically original inline 6 cylinder “Super Hurricane Six” , 3 speed, has PTO (not installed) gin poles and winch. It was my dads we went thru this from the radiator to the tailpipe many years ago. It was towed to Colorado just about every summer for two weeks of trials and passes. My dad was an auto mechanic instructor at the Vo-Tech school here for 30 years and this truck is in great mechanical shape, but not so pretty. My dad had the original seat and base taken out and built a larger gas tank to fit the space with a hand built bench seat. Please email to schedule an appointment. It has been setting awhile an has a wheel cylinder leaking. Make me an offer.”
There have been several Craigslist Ads for this California parts dealer. Maybe they have something you need?

“Selling both my six cylinder willys jeep pick up trucks. The truck with the plow is a 1950, runs and drives real nice, needs brakes and has the typical NY State rust issues inside & out, I do have a registration for this one. The other jeep I believe is a 1962 w/no paper work, this jeep does not run and I have not tried to start it at this time, I was told by the guy I bought it from that it needs points/condenser & cap, otherwise complete. This jeep is in pretty decent condition but still has the NY rust issues. I am asking 3K for both or reasonable offers and will seperate.”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Never priced.

“1951 Willys Pickup
4×4 385 HP Chevy 350
Ford 9 in. ps pb”
UPDATE: Was $4000. **SOLD**
Dan spotted this truck.
“For sale is a 1956 Willys Jeep Truck: runs and drives, mechanically sound. Upgraded to 12 volts, with original gauges running on 6 volt regulator. All gauges function perfectly. Four wheel drive works. Original straight-six engine starts and runs like a charm. Original drivetrain. New all-terrain tires; only six months/600 miles.
The bed is rusted through in places, and the floorboards have some small rust holes, but the body is in otherwise good condition: the fenders are a rare commodity, and are all in good shape.
This had been my daily driver for the last few months, but I’m bicycling to work these days. Asking $4000 or best offer. I’ll gladly throw in any spare parts I’ve got, including the set of original rims.”
Looks like a nice truck.
