Listed as a VEEP, I believe this is actually a SCAMP based on the front grille design with the recessed lights.

“Make this Jeep your own! Assemble/build it, pick the paint colors of your choice and have pride of ownership. Or, sell parts at a significant profit. Parts purchased well over $12,000 and selling total package for only $5000. System min mileage is 300, but it has 0. Car has to be built. New everything!

(11/18/2021) This may have been built from a SCAMP, rather than a VEEP, kit based on the grille setup. It looks in great shape.

“1971 VW “VEEP” Willys style Jeep Volkswagen kit car.”
While some may question the design, there is certainly some good workmanship here.
This is likely a SCAMP, given the grille-type.

“Up for sale is a M38 Willys jeep, not a 4×4, this is a custom made frame with an original M38/willys body. powered by a VW 1600 cc engine rebuild with 38k miles. because of the engine is registered as 1964 VW. somebody put a lot of time, brain and money in this very cool toy. bought it for my daughter but she wasn’t comfortable with stick shift (specially VW is very different) My mechanic got the head lights and blinkers working after I bough it,
I got a new set of tires trough the pandemic and had a friend installed but they need to be balanced. needs the oil gasket replaced to fix a small leak. I was going to replace the radio but I did not have the guts to cut the very nice dash so I left the old one from the 80″s alone. I purchased a new set of front and rear shock that I will be glad to pass to new owner. It was my daily driver in town (Ukiah) last summer and got lots of smiles, tombs up and compliments. even do it has the 1600 cc engine I do not recommend it for use in freeway. front wheel disc brakes. I got some extra parts like a set of canvas doors and a couple other things that will go with the car.no trades, no low ballers nor scammers”
TJ shared this rare offload VW-based Brazil vehicle with 4WD that’s up for auction. It’s located in Brazil, but shipping is available to Europe. There are ton of pics of the Jeg that’s up for auction along with pics of related brochures.

“In the 70s, VW Brasil tried to join the Brazilian army with the VW VEMP. Two prototypes were created (one 4X4 and one 4X2), the car was created entirely in straight and simple lines for easier maintenance.
The engine would be 1600 already used by cars of other VW models. After the project was rejected for political reasons (cars with a rear engine would no longer be accepted by the army) the two prototypes ended up being used internally by the factory.
The body has an unusual windshield lip on the cowl.

“Up for sale is a very nice Veep : A Willys flat fender Jeep body kit on a 1968 VW tub.
There have been many variations of Veep bodies produced over the years, this one is one of the more sought after versions, as it is metal rather than fiberglass. Rebuilt throughout and runs and drives extremely well. Body is straight, paint is not perfect and has it’s share of minor blemishes, but is still a presentable toy.

“1947 CJ2A fiberglass replica built on a 1968 vw platform. 1600 dual port engine. Look extremely close to the original CJ2A but has the benefit of a newer engine and drive train. Probably cruise at 60/65MPH. Titled as a 1868 ASVE ) assembled vehicle, green Ok title in my name, current tag. Insured through a classic car insurer for very little premium. Run and drives great but want to jump 4th gear some times. Fun to drive and economical to operate and maintain. Has lots and lots of new parts.”

A recently rebuilt 1600cc Dual port VW engine that starts easily and runs good.

This Jeep is ready to go and could be driven home.

Mike bought this VEEP in September of 2018 in Arizona. It ran, but had lots of surface rust on the paint. So, he blasted the body, rebuilt the engine (to 1915cc), redid the engine compartment, and added some other custom elements. His goal was to enter it in local car shows and, so far, he’s won four trophy’s with it. Nice work!
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
It’s a project. The body has some rust.
