“1949 Jeep willys delivery, four cylinder, 2 wheel drive, have original parts with barn doors, project”
UPDATE Still Available under new link.
This was a drag jeep that’s been made street legal. I’m not sure why it is listed as a 1962.
“For sale is a very nice and fun to drive 1962 Willys Panel Wagon. spent most of its life as a drag car on the Coles County Dragstrip before being returned to the street. Very strait body, no rust or dents. Very reliable, I have driven it to the NSRA Nationals event in Louisville KY the last 2 years. No problem running 70+ mph down the interstate. It has a .030 over 350 crate motor, 400 turbo tranny, 9″ ford rearend, power steering. Always gets a lot of attention and you wont see another one like it at the car show. Trades considered”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Craigslist links no longer work.
(09/13/2020) There’s some wagon and truck parts, a split flat fender body, and some random parts.
“Willy parts, Ford parts, Chevy parts boat parts, motorcycle parts, tools you name it we hope we have it for sale.”
Dan pointed out that this Parkway Conversion looking wagon has the rear bumper step plate of a Traveller. The deal includes a ‘jeep’-bed trailer.

“Rare version with the barn doors less then 300 made in 57′. Back injury forces me to sell rather than complete. Older V8 conversion needs a refresh. Lots of the new parts included. Has Dana front and rear, overdrive and 2 speed rear end! With matching trailer this is a special combo and I will be sad to see it go. serious only I don’t need help selling and if the ad is up its still for sale”
This wagon has a gov plate and remnants of a Department of Interior design that suggest it was owned by the DOI at some point.

(08/12/2016) Dan spotted this nice wagon out of Oregon.
“1959 Willys Jeep Wagon, 4WD, Everyday Driver, Original Drive Train, Warn Overdrive, Warn Automatic Hubs. I bought the Vehicle in 2000 in Vancouver, WA from it’s second owner. I restored/re-built it as an every-day driver in 2004. I’ve kept it in a garage since I restored it. The body, interior, engine, and drive train were done in local shops in the Portland Metro.
It comes with a few spare parts. I have a set of snow tires mounted on the same style rims that would be extra if you’re interested. The right front brake needs some TLC before you start driving it every day.
I’ve driven this fun wagon for 20 years, but now I’m looking for something new and different.”

Mike pointed out that the 1999 movie Holy Joe, starring John Ritter and Meredith Baxter, included a Willys wagon. I believe the moral of the story is that if you do good in the world that someone will restore your wagon for you? At least, that’s what I got out of it!
Based on various angles, I believe this was a 1961ish 2WD Maverick, but I am open to other thoughts. You’ll note the ‘restoration’ of the wagon does not reflect an original paint scheme. The wagon makes several appearances. Here are the three longest ones.
The 11:09 minute mark before ‘restoration’:
The 51.25 minute mark before ‘restoration’:
The 1:31:37 minute mark (near end of movie) after ‘restoration’:
UPDATE: **SOLD** was $3000.
Seller has an assortment of wagons, trucks and parts.
“You are basically looking at a willys junkyard. A collection of leftovers from years of having an addiction to Willys vehicles.
First a wagon with a small block ford and is the one deserving restoration.
Another wagon that is fairly complete but has suffered the ravages of time.
A truck that I just plain feel sorry for… not good to say the least.
Several extra 6 cylinder hurricane engines, couple of transmissions, doors, fenders, hoods, bumpers grilles, and boxes of lots of miscellaneous parts to numerous to mention.
ALL ALL ALL for sale for $3000.00 cash up front. (take it all… multiple trips ok!)
Might trade all for a decent running driving Jeep Comanche or maybe a complete Jeep CJ, or easy CJ project”
Jay let me know that the Green Float company currently has several jeeps for sale. These are the jeeps they have for sale as of August 7, 2020.

“48 Willy’s on a
41 Willy’s coupe chassis.
Rat rod if you will.
This is fully custom from a build back in the 80s.
Channeled 7-9 inches.
Shortened.
Wagon top removed.
They built a truck cab top that has been removed but still have it.
Has a 65ish for 170 with a Zenith/stomberg euro carb from the 70s.
Since I got it I did a suicide front end dropping front about 8 inches and extending it 36 inches. Rear dropped 3 to give it a California rake look to it.
I have not driven it since I finished the suspension changes.
There is defenately things that still have to be done. Some lights that have to be fixed and button up some things. I drove the car last November or so before I started mods.
Only started since then.
This is a one of a kind that will never be seen again.
It is registered and titles and up to date. With title in hand.”
Looks like a fun driver.
