Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I unfortunately have to sell my 1961 FJ 3 fleet van. This was a US Mail service delivery van and it is right hand drive. This short wheelbase and tall profile makes it a awesome shop truck or advertising vehicle. It has the perfect patina and very limited rusted through holes. This is less motor and trans so you can put whatever drivetrain you want in it. This fan rolls and steers good and has the original rear end in it. I was told that they made around 200 of these and most of them got destroyed when they were decommissioned. A few of them got out if you worked for the post office they would sell you one. First $4,000.00 gets it.. I can tex more pictures. ..”

“We are no longer firmly asking what a Willys CJ2A in this nice condition is worth at $4,700. But, with being in urgent need to get items sold for unexpected financial expenses, we are willing to consider any reasonable offers and will consider trade from partial to full.
We have owned this CJ2A for about 7 years and put a total of about 50 miles on it. When we bought it we thought about doing an extensive restoration as that is our side line business of restoring old trucks and Jeeps.

(11/24/2015) This modified jeep looks to have a bobcat 3B body.
“This is a cool looking off road vehicle! It turns heads and is fun to drive. This amazing vehicle is located in Albany, Oregon and we encourage everyone to come take a look at it and drive it for yourself. The best opinion is your opinion.
Exterior: The exterior of this Jeep is in amazing condition. The fiberglass body is in great shape, with a colored match bed lined interior. Custom steel bumpers both front and rear with a bad a** cage gives this willys it’s aggressive look.
Interior: Fitted with two new lowback bucket seats, a modern ebrake for safety, and new gauges, just get in a cruise or hit the trails. We have taken over 60 pictures of this vehicle. Please look over all of them and give us a call if you have any questions.
Mechanics: The heart of this rig is a GM small block 327v8, backed by a 3 speed manual with overdrive, longtube headers with side exhuast, great looking rims and tires,as well as much more.
This V8 starts right up, idles fine, and has good power and acceleration and drives straight down the road. The Odometer currently reads 01, but has not been verified if it is original. Inspected, serviced and detailed and it’s ready to drive anywhere you need.”

Bob spotted this today at an antique store. It was $199! One of these sold on eBay a few years ago.
Maury scanned and shared this CJ-5 Brochure. It is easy to forget how many accessories were offered for the CJ-5 in 1970. Of course, this doesn’t include other aftermarket parts that were available.
That’s some serious mud.

Original Parts: Body, Frame, Suspension. Everything else is modern(ish). This has been my daily driver for the past 5 1/2 years and is very reliable. Recently had the entire exterior sandblasted and it’s now wearing a 2-part epoxy primer. No rust. Lots of small dings, nothing major. If you want to win “Best of Show,” this isn’t for you. At least until you finish the body work. Lots of extra original parts including the door handles, although they’re only decorative. (Remote door locks.) $9400 OBO”

“This original flat head 4 cylinder 1949 Willys Jeepster has a clear AZ TITLE and ready to restore. It runs and drives but is not a driver. It needs a full restoration. The engine smokes, but does not knock or make noises. A set of rings and you should be good to go. The transmission shifts great!!!! Both the front suspension and rear axle has been rebuilt. The driveshaft and the brakes (including new drums) are all rebuilt. There are various new parts, which have been installed so this can be started and driven short distances. The radiator has been rodded out, new water pump, hoses (oil and water, brake), plugs, distributer, wires, rebuilt carb, new steering wheel, etc….. The wiring is shot, and is only wired to start and has brake lights. However, a new OE style harness is included.
