“Barn Find 1951 Willys MB38 jeep. Has been park for years in barn and outside. Complete vehicle with Texas Title. Jeep was dip in rubber by military so paint looks different. Tires are bad”

“The pictures tell most of the story. This wagon is a 1952 model year. It has the original four cylinder and Dana 4×4 transmission setup. In addition it has a direct drive warn winch and water pump. They work off of the transmission and engine. ( not electric – hydraulic ) This old girl pulled my 8n tractor out of of the mud this fall. ( it was buried up to the back axel) She is not a trailer queen. She was meant for work.
There is a lot of good, but there is some bad. The things needed for regular use would be clean the carb out (it’s gummed up) change the fluids, and adjust the brakes. Like I said. In November I used it to pull out my tractor. I bought an f250 and need to find a new home for the old girl. I have many new parts. So if you don’t see it in the picture that doesn’t mean it doesn’t come with the wagon.
Email me a # and I will call you ASAP. ”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $3500.

This article was published in the October 1945 issue of Coronet Magazine. The name of the article, “Jeep of all Trades”, is the same as a 1943 article published in Colliers posted here.
I recently rewrote and published an article about APU Navy Jeeps for war jeeps.com. You can check it out here.
This hasn’t been used much.
“I have owned this Willy’s for 20 years, built from the ground up……
Tub, fenders, grill, tailgate, roll bar, are in stainless steel…….the Willys features a 1957 Chevrolet 283 V8, turbo 350 transmission, Toyota transfer case, dana 44 reverse rearend, 373 gears, tilt steering, P.S., P.B.,…..With less than 3000 miles on the drivetrain, it has never been off road, just shown a few times at local car shows. Goodguys Pick/Award winner …..an incredible amount of hours and money went into this build. I have it priced well below investment. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! $29,500”
This looks like a great price. They look more like 3As.
“42 jeep willy has flat head 4 in it. 47 has two v6 pontiac motors. spare parts also. for more information contact Mike five4one five6one one6eight0”
This looks like a good price for the pair.
“Willyz CJ2A Jeeps (we believe they are 1946 or 1947). The one in the pictures with the plow, runs and drives. Has been shed kept for over 30 years with minimal use in the last 12 years. It is a manual angle plow. Body does have rust, but is not a total basket case.
The second jeep is for parts. It is complete and not running.
Both are sold with bill of sale. As is. Cash only, NO trades. Serious inquires ONLY.
$2,500 OBO”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000
This may be worth a look.
“1946 Willy Jeep, vinyl top & tow bar. Great for hunting & off road travel.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2100
It doesn’t run at the moment, but seller hopes to have it running soon. Looks like it has some character to me.
“1954 Willy’s Jeep. Last driven in 1999. I believe it needs a 2nd gear synchro, because it liked to pop out of 2nd gear. I hope to have it running again in a couple of weeks. ( I have to get the carb back on.) Has some broken glass, the seats are rough, but it has very little rust. The hydraulic plow worked well. US Army #20987240.”
UPDATE: Was $2500. Status Unknown.
“Up for sale is our 1957 Jeep FC170, forward control. This was to be a project for my son and I but the body work is over our head. This truck is highly collectible and complete, everything is here including a new windshield and service manual. This is a 4wd vehicle with locking hubs in the front. The engine is the 6 cylinder with a 4 speed manual transmission and 2 speed Dana Spicer transfer case.
This would make a great father and son project, or can be used for parts. The body is extremely rusty and will need extensive work. I’ve attached as many photos as possible so that you can see everything.
We would consider a trade for something of equal value, possibly another Jeep CJ, Wrangler, Land Cruiser, Trooper, MG, sports car, Triumph, or other 4×4.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.
This looks like a good price on a trailer.
“This is a 1947 Marine Jeep Trailer made by Banta. Trailer is in complete working order. As expected, a few small dents and rust spots. Hitch has been replaced to be used by a normal vehicle. Wiring has been refurbished and is in great shape.”
