This has a rear PTO and a solid appearing floor.

“1953 CJ-3A Farm Jeep, This jeep runs and drives. New carb, brake pads, wheel cylinders and clutch in 2007. Rear PTO works. Engine burns oil. Current 6 volt electrical system is not charging. The tub has been patched and is rusty. Seats are not correct. Taillights are not correct. I have used this jeep on our farm since 2006. I just have to many jeeps and this one needs to find a new home. The jeep will be sold with BILL OF SALE ONLY.”

This looks like a great price with most of the value in the trailer.  The grille looks like it is stainless, too.

“’47 CJ2A project. 225 Buick V-6, twin stick transfer case, warn hubs, stainless front fenders, chrome grill, early mustang taillights. Needs a coil, tires and wheels, fuel tank installed, and brakes fixed. I don’t know anything about the condition of the motor ( I got the jeep as is in a trade ). Trailer is a flatbed tandem axle with a 21′ by 6′ deck. will fit 2 jeeps nose to nose. Trailer will need a new 2 5/16″ coupler (it does function as is) and work on the left side taillights. “elling this vehicle as parts. There is no title with this vehicle, I chose “salvage” because it was a required field. THE JEEP HAS NO TITLE. It was used for years off road as a plow and not registered or titled . Serial # 360409, 8/10/44. The engine is newer and from a civilian Jeep, the transmission and transfer case are original MB. The engine smokes and will need to be rebuilt if used. The engine ran long enough to determine that it will shift through the gears and not overheat. Steering is OK and the brakes are poor at best. Now for the good part: The body is almost rot free, floors, and tool box bottoms are solid. The body does have bondo and extra holes but overall an excellent candidate for restoration. The front frame horns have had a plow frame welded to them but are in amazing shape and can be brought back with carefull metal removal. 3 combat rims are included. Milage is listed as 99,999 but I have no idea of actual milage. Buyer is responsible for transportation, but we will assist with loading if needed.”

(08/15/2012) Here’s an unusual CJ-5.  It appears to have been modified by the same people/person who created these other modified jeeps, an observation I’m basing on the top.  Given the jeep is from Hesperia, there’s a very good change it is the same group.  Note that the jeep was stored for more than three decades.

We were hunting jeeps, as we do anytime we are traveling in the car, when I heard Ann shout, “That’s a camel . . . NO, that’ s horse . . . No, that’s a Camel.”

Those weren’t words I expected to hear as we drove into the small town of Waitsburg, Washington, just a short drive north from Walla Walla.  But, sure enough, there amongst two cows was a Camel eating some feed.  It’s just strange the things you can find when you start looking.

“For SALE OR TRADE 1946 Willys Jeep cj-2a (CLEAN TITLE IN HAND) the price of $3500 is negotiable, as far as trades I will trade for a Kawasaki KLR 650 or similar endure type bike.

Has been converted to 12 volt. Engine has been replaced with the 134 F head. This is the engine that was used in the cj-3b’s among other vehicles, similar to the original flathead but the intake valves are in the head and the exhaust valves are in the block, providing slightly more power and reliability in comparison to the L head (flathead). This thing runs great, and has recently had these parts changed. (I have all of the receipts)

Doesn’t leak all over the place, and would make a perfect hunting rig / work horse, or you could just use it for fun, this thing is a blast to drive”
