“1955 Willys 4×4 Wagon restoration in progress. It has the hurricane straight 6 w/3 spd trans. I purchased the vehicle 10 years ago from guy in Texas. I drove it for a year with a lot of comments about it being a neat truck. I decided to restore it to its original condition. I had the vehicle and the frame along with many components stripped at a cost of $2200. It was recommended it be painted with a zink chromate primer, hence the yellow color. I have all new door and window seals a 12 volt up grade harness, new front floor pans. I had a local shop recommended by the company that stripped the vehicle repair the fenders at a cost of $1000. I have all the glass but not in very good condition. I also found and bought the original front and rear bumpers , they need work. If you add up the numbers I have over $3500 and probably more ??? in restoration not including the cost of the vehicle. I no longer have the finances to finish the project. It’s ready for someone to finish putting it back together. I have 95 % of the parts to finish the restoration. It has been stored in doors since I’ve owned it. I have additional pictures of the vehicle prior to starting the restoration.  $3500  takes it all, the vehicle is in northern Michigan.    email rstrange81@yahoo.com”

“Great project. 1947 CJ-2A It is the first year of the civillian jeep. It has the F head 4 cylinder w/ low hrs. 3 spd. trans. Body is in fair shape some rust in tub below driver and passenger. This is definitely a project. Hasn’t run in many years. Was stored inside part of the time and covered outside the other. Transmission is out but all the parts plus a spare trans. and trasfer case are there. It doesn’t have a hard top or doors. With the exception of the F head it is all original. Would consider trading for a miller bobcat 225 or 250 portable welder”

“Restored 1951 M38 Willy’s Army Jeep – Ser. No. 24,675 MFG 9-51The M38 only had a two year production run, during which time only 62,329 were built (compared with the nearly 650 thousand MBs and GPWs build during WWII). Has several unique characteristics compared to the WWII jeep. First with 24 volt electrical system, first one piece windshield, first to have 7×16 tires instead of 6×16, last and best of flat fendered jeeps, last of the flat head 4 cylinder engines, first jeep with true fording capabilties(sealed sparkplugs and distributer) when equipped with a snorkel and tail pipe extension and of course the removable tailgate.
Though restored, this has been changed to a 12 volt system and does not have the sealed(water proof) plugs. So here is an M38 that not only looks good, but is road ready.”

Needs a bit of TLC to bring it back to solid running condition, but shouldn’t take much. Needs a fuel system run through, since it has been sitting for a year without regular use.

The engine is stuck.

“1959 Willys Jeep Forward Control FC-170.
The truck has the original flathead 226 “Super Hurricane” straight 6 engine but it is stuck. I had planned to pull the head and work the pistons free but I have no time for it now.. Has the 3 speed T-90 transmission. Being a Jeep it is of course four wheel drive.

These are bit of a rare bird as only ~35000 of them were ever made. This one has a fair bit of rust typical of living in the rust belt.
It used to be a farm truck up in Michigan. There’s no bed on it. It was originally a stake bed I believe.

The drivers side window has a crack through it. All the other windows are fine but the front windshield is a bit fogged along the bottom.”

Chassis and body are very solid and has no rust. Has original 4clyinder engine. We recently installed new master cylinder, all new rubber brake flex lines. All new wheel cylinders. Aluminum steering wheel, New all weather seats. Flushed fuel tank, new fuel filters. Fun vehicle to drive year round.. Need to sell, losing our storage space.

Very original, unique Oregon history, I have the original 1958 Oregon title, I am the second owner.

In good shape, does need some rust repair but not like most! Engine runs and it drives and stops. Brand new tires, white powder coat wheels with 2 spares (no tires on them). Two extra engines and another FC170 parts rig which is all there except the bed (was a flat bed).

I would love to get this out of my garage. Might be interested in a trade if something interests me.

“1963 FC 170 around 70,000 miles. Has the original 6 cyl Hurricane engine is running but is tired, and a 3 speed trans. Truck is 4wd. Everything on the truck works, wipers, heater, lights and signals. Brakes work but one wheel cylinder is leaking. Tires are in excellent condition. “Nice fiberglass tub, not perfect, but nice overall shape. It came off a 64 CJ. Should mount up to just about any CJ by drilling some new holes. I had an identical tub mounted to a 54 willys. Anyway, comes with windshield frame and fenders. Fenders are flat fenders off an older jeep willys jeep that have been retrofitted to fit this jeep. Use em or just use the regular rounded fenders. “This is a really nice, completely gone through Willys Jeep cj3b flat fender high hood. It is a new steel body. 260 ford falcon v8, factory manual 3 speed, overdrive. There is way too much to list. It was built with light off road and car shows in mind. Custom gauges, Idit tilt column, Herm the overdrive guy brake master setup and power steering setup with new tie rod and link configuration. Wagner 11″ drums on all 4, custom rear exit dual exhaust with catalytic converter, new tires and wheels, including spare. Two gas tanks. BODY is from a 1942 FORD GPW. Has a FORD stamp on the rear end. Includes the jockey box with the ID # – 18235. Built on 4/22/1942. This is a RARE jeep.
Dana 44 Axles from a Waggoneer locked up with Yukon lockers & gears. Gearing is 456.
Generic jeep springs.
1957 CJ5 Frame.
1965 Buick 225 V6 motor from a CJ5 – strong running, easy to start.
Transmission & transfer case from the same jeep as the motor. – All gears are good. Set up with T-90 and Dana 18 setup.
Tires in great shape with lots of tread left.”

This looks like a DJ-3A that has the solid back.

“Ok so here they are together for those of you who looked at my ad for the one before. I now have both in my yard. The complete vehicle has rust on floor and sides. Dont know what model it is. The motor is an F head.that had a new head put on it by the previous owner. It will start for you with some effort but smokes badly. I bought it that way from a friend of mine, got it started and drove it around my yard in 4wheel high and low. Brakes had been repaired but probably need fluid as the pedal goes to the floor. The extra tub also has rust but is in much better shape and easier to repair. The floor is rusted out on both sides to some extent and would need to be cut and new metal welded in. That tub has a tailgate as seen in the photos and is probably a CJ2a or 3a. Chassis only has the axles. No trans. Is a roller. The front hood, fneders and windshield plus grill come with it and can be seen on the flickr site at this link along with other more detailed photos of the jeeps”
