Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (09/27/2010) “I have a 1947 CJ 2A. it is a project vehicle I just havent been able to start on let alone finish. Body is relatively solid, its all there, included in the deal is Dana 27 front 3.73 gears, Dana 44 rear 3.73 gears, NP 435 4spd (from Ford half ton 2wd) all jeep wheels that fit it. Pics available soon. But needed to post this to start the process.”

(03/09/2011) Here’s a parts jeep.
“1948 Willys cj2a includes tub, frame, some steering gear, gas tank, gauges, pedals, brakes and some other pieces. Has a front bull bars and a rear bumper with tow hitch. Tub is straight, firewall and floors are good, bottoms past rear of door need repair. Frame is solid apart from stress crack near front spring- usual place for these from offroad use. Its been on road and used till recently. Axles and wheels/tires not included and no tranny/transfer case. Pictures are older ones but condition is the same. Selling as one piece – $550”

According to the M201.com website, in 2009 the Musee Des Blindes in Saumur, France, unveiled a Hotchkiss M201 ENTAC. I do not remember ever seeing one of these.
As far as I can tell, this M201 is the only jeep at this particular museum. These first and last pics are from this page on the M201 website. The 2nd pic was on Flicker and taken by Massimo Foti.

You are bidding on a massive collection of jeep vehicles, literature, memorabilia, dealer items, toys, and much more. This is the collection of Jeep restorer and enthusiast, Brian Hainer, of Brian’s 4wd Parts, LLC. This list of vehicles is as follows:
1946 CJ2A, original survivor with 7000 miles on it. Original top, chaff screen, rear seat. Even has original key and invoice from Willys/Overland. Has the patina of a 50+ year old vehicle and is one of the most original examples of a CJ2A in existence.
1962 CJ6 Garage Service Vehicle. This has been restored from the ground up and is flawless. Original Koenig Wrecker Boom, and Front winch. Twin Stick PTO powers the front winch, rear wrecker winch, and air compressor. Since the photos posted were taken I have made some top bows and sewn a full lenght bikini top for it. Made out of black canvas. I also added a Extend-a-Bed to this vehicle. There just isn’t any room back there to carry anything and I wasn’t planning on using the boom so I added the extension.
1977 Jeep CJ7. This satisfied my need to go fast every now and again. V8 304, 4.10 gears, …… This jeep is a perfect driver and restored with the same care as every vehicle that comes thru my shop.
1968 CJ5 Jeep-a-Trench. This is an unrestored CJ5 bought from the original owner a couple years ago. Everything is there and is a great example of a trencher. Runs and drives but smokes like crazy. Awaiting restoration.
196? CJ5 Snowblower Jeep. Not exactly sure of the year. This came from an airport and has 109 miles on it. Runs perfect, has the T-98 4 speed in it, but it is very rusty. Body will need replacing.
CJ5 10001 Cut Away Jeep Chassis . This jeep chassis is a cut away display model made by Willys. It has every option you could install on a jeep at the time and everything is cut open so you could see the operation of it. Front winch, governor, twin stick pto, rear gearbox, and right angle pulley. A true piece of history.
That about covers the vehicles. Also included in this sale is every piece of literature, memoriabilia, jeep toy, etc.. that I have collected over the past 30 years. If it is jeep related I probably have it…. bought out a lot of dealers and collected a lot of signs, and early salesmens books.
The Jeep Toy collection is an impressive one and includes #92 of the Fine Art Model of the ww2 MB. Fine art models got into a battle with Chrysler a while back over making these and it is very rare to ever see one for sale. You will receive #92 with this collection.

“This jeep is a 1952 model M38.It has a 1962 buick V6 engine. The jeep runs really good, it has a couple of oil leaks. There is a little bit of cancer on the passenger floor board. I just put a new water pump on it, All the lights work and the gauges. The tires are in good shape 50%+. The overdrive needs a electrical part. There is no top. The registration is current. “I have been piecing this jeep together for years and it’s time to let it go for moving reasons. It has a 52 frame with a buick 225 v6 engine, rebuilt transfer case and tranny, Dana 44 rear axle and a front 20 out of a 65 cj5 with a disc brake swap on the front. Frame has been blasted before and the leaf springs are new. The body is out of 47 cj and It has some minor surface rust and It will need to be sanded and some body work, fenders, hood, tail gate, windshield frame, MB grill and roll bar are in decent shape. It has a lot of new parts to finish it, H20 pump, fuel pump, windshield molding, best top bikini top, fuel tank, rancho 5000 shocks, wiring harness, headers, distributor, spare tire carrier, new spycer u-joints on driveshafts. Wheels had been painted before and the tires are 33’s Pro comp mud terrains w not a lot tread left. All the parts You see in the pics are included and it doesn’t need that many more to finish. It’s titled as a 52 willys and the tittle is an open title from Wisconsin. Too many hours and money on this project. This can be a solid foundation for a nice trail rig w an original look to take to the parades….”
