“1946 Jeep with 327 small block Corvette engine. Also has Chevy transmission with granny low gears. Has recently apholstered seats and driver side slightly modified to fit taller person. (01/14/2011) This is suppose to have very light rust.

“jeep body is really good for age. the floors are solid and dont have much rust on the body for the age either. the top is still good also. the plow and everything work great. the motor is a 4cyl which runs good but knocks so it will need to be rebuilt. the trans is a manule trans 4×4. tires are good and frame is good as well. i may trade this jeep for something else like a nice truck or something else that might catch my eye. i just dont want anything that i have to work on thats why im selling this. call me at 304=788=6165. just ask if you have a trade or 2000 cash takes this jeep home. these jeeps are getting hard to find in this kind of shape. thanks for looking”

“1946 Willys Jeep. This is a rare early # column shift jeep. This Jeep was rebuilt in the 80’s and still shows good. I have all service records from 1980 to today. It was also converted to 12V. and it has 33″ tires side bars and roll bar. Truck Runs good but needs the following to be put on the road. Brake work. 1 windshield glass. Rear springs. Exhaust. The stats on this Jeep owned by Ron Stevens of Washingtonville: red 1948 CJ2A Jeep Truck Pro Street 2WD, 350cid Chevy Crate Motor 290hp, Turbo 400, Dana 44 w/Detroit Locker. The hand-built body and frame were a combined effort of Clarence, Don and John Stevens.

It is 12 volt with a new carb, i have the old carb as well, the steering was converted to crossover with a new steering box, everything that could be replaced including the brakes and seals in the axles, was replaced. any questions please email me, asking 8000 obo, I have every receipt on hand showing how much was put into this amazing jeep. I inside of the tub was sprayed professionally with bed liner. I also have the original wheels with tires on them. Willing to deliver up to 300 miles for cost of gas.”

“Its time to sell this Willys project that i inherited a while back. I havent touched it in a couple years and I need the space in my garage. It ran before it was pulled apart. F-head 134/T90/D18. The frame is from a ’59 but I also still have the original. It comes with 2 sets of wheels, 15″ and 16″. None of the mounted tires are road worthy. Springs and shocks are new. Not pictured, but hood, fenders, grill, and rad are also included. It comes with a new dual chamber MC, prothane body mount kit, tie rod and drag link upgrade. Buy it to build it up or part it out. I have the title in hand. The purchaser will need a car hauler and cherry picker for the motor. I will not ship or part this out. If you want some of it, you will need to buy all of it. reply to this ad.”

“Original classic. 6 volt Jeep Overland Company 2X4 pickup truck. Runs great and has had a lot of work done to it over the years keeping it original. The tires are new however they are cracked and need to be replaced. There is very little cancer (only on the door bottom and very little). The floor pan is whole and the doors have not been sprung. Has a heater and the smallest windshield wipers you have ever seen. New brakes and engine rebuilt a few years back. The interior is in really good shape. Drive a classic home for $2700 and run it for another 50 years.”

It was running right before I got it, just smoked a little so my brother took the engine out to rebuild it and that’s where this project has been for some time now. “1946 CJ2-A Willys Jeep… runs good, has original engine and ALL parts; I put an aftermarket carb on it and a reproduction fuel pump – however I have BOTH of the original pieces that can be re-worked and I’m sure they would work (I cleaned them both but just couldn’t get it to run with them).

New suspension all around, original military spec rims and good rubber.

Have a new shop manual as well – plus lots of odds and ends parts.

I have an extra fly wheel, extra front differential with hubs, extra steering wheel and neck assembly.”
