“Hard to find “Ford” jeep, not a “Willy’s”.Frame off restoration in 1984. 1944 Ford GPW. Frame serial # GPW 216175. 4 cylinder 12 volt “Go-devil” engine. 3 speed tranny. Twin stick transfer case. It has 1,200 miles on since 2003 and 47,680 over all. Some from Motorhome towed miles . It has Rancho springs, yellow ‘Optima’ gel battery… Radiator , water pump, crank pulley, motor mounts and belts done over the summer . Cadillac tilt wheel and steering. Jaguar electric wipers. Roll bar, fog lights, back up light, seat belts. Custom front bumper with tow bar, and rear bumper with receiver hitch and storage. Les Swawb tires with US slot mags. Heater with hi/lo fan motor. I’m sorry to say that I experienced a death recently, a close friend with whom I have shared close calls and turbulent times. While my friend was there most times, there were times that this friend was nowhere to be found. For this reason, I don’t wholly miss my friend. In fact, though I buried my friend, rather than entombing my friend 6ft under ground, my friend is entombed in my computer bag.
Yes, my Samsung Instinct died; Or more accurately, I put him to death. He was behaving badly over the last week, so I punished his disloyalty by purchasing a new phone with a new provider — a Samsung Captivate with the Andriod OS with AT&T. So, though my old friend is gone and buried, he is not missed … not in the slightest.
With my new phone, I can now text again, dial phone numbers, surf the web and even download APPS. Oh happy days!
Since I am now back in the age of modern phones, I felt it was time to implement a ‘mobile edition’ of eWillys. For now, it is simply a mobile browser addition, meaning it is a little friendlier for the phone — at least it is on my android phone.

The serial number suggests this is a ’59 rather than a ’71 or ’72 (http://www.jeeptech.com/models/cj-5.htm).
“1971 OR 72 JEEP WITH A PLOW AND TRENCHER. THE TRENCHER IS MADE BY JEEP A TRENCH GEAR HYDROLIC MODEL GW103 SERIAL #2817. THE PLOW AND TRENCHER IS IS GREAT SHAPE AND WORKS GOOD. THE JEEP IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, #5754897216, WILLYS CJ5, TIRE TREAD IS FAIR. THE MOTOR HAS JUST BEEN REBUILT AND IS A 134 F HEAD. THIS IS ALL FACOTRY AND HAS BEEN REPAINTED. Lots of work has been completed, but plenty left. No mention of how the seller has identified this as a M-606.
“1966 Jeep CJ3B. This is a very rare military version classified as an M606 with factory 225 V6. Chassis has been completely redone. Everything has been powder coated and rebuilt. Factory rear Dana 44 with newer open knuckle Dana 30 front. Front and rear have 4.27 gears. Rear has a power lock. Front has a Detroit locker. All new bearings and seals. Transmission and transfer case have been completely rebuilt. Brand new Center Force clutch. All new suspension. Brand new power steering box. 225 V6 has been rebuilt. Brand new starter, alternator, headers, and misc. Brake and clutch assembly has been modified to a hanging pedal assembly. Also has a hydraulic clutch, PTO winch, brand new seats, plus boxes of brand new parts. Body has been media blasted. NEEDS TO BE PAINTED AND FINAL ASSEMBLY. Also has brand new tires and many other brand new parts. This is an extremely rare Jeep. It is a military version of a 3B but does not have any of the Willy’s stampings on body because it was built after Willy’s was sold out.”

“1946 Willy’s for sale. Has been garaged for the last 5 years. Four cylinder motor-will run, but needs some love. Have not had it running for about a year and a half. “As seen in photos, one complete Jeep with snow plow – title number BB25049. Purchased this Jeep from a local man who said it came from PA State Road of Turnpike. As you can see in the pictures, it is mostly complete. What I can see that is missing is the top radiator hose and oil breather, tube and can. It has dual defrosters, heater, radio and spotlight.The snow plow has a tag that reads Scheneker Iron Works Serial Number 8740 Model B. PLow is in decent shape for age, not bent. All hydrolics appear to be intact and complete. This Jeep is a perfect project vehicle for restoration.
The pictures also show a Jeep frame that I started as a project, the frame was sandblasted, repainted with Eastwood primer and chasis paint. All bearings were repacked or replaced. All new seals (front seal leaks, have not had a chance to look at it). New brake lines and master cylinder, shocks and spring shackles. Tires are new but have some sidewall cracking. I put all new tubes in them. It has a little surface rust from sitting out the past several months on the areas that are not painted. The tub that came off the frame has had all sheet metal replaced, it is ready for sandblasting and a little body work, then painting. The photos show rust but this is from the replacement metal not being painted. The motor and trans are on the skid in the photos. It did run when I started the project 3 years ago. It was clean but has some surface rust. The Vin # s BC51837 (with title).
The other 2 Jeeps shown are parts Jeeps, no titles. I can’t begin to list what I have taken off or what’s left, it was used on my project. Email with questions. There is also a skid with extra parts, some useable some not.
The Bantam Trailer, Vin # T3C362 (with title). I have original VIN plate, it is not on the trailer so no photo taken of it. It has had the floor replaced and the front part of the trailer (about 4″ up) has been replaced. Photo shows surface rust, just needs sandblasted. Tires are original will need replaced.

“I absolutely hate listing my Jeep, logic and finances dictate however. I recently moved and now have nearly a one hundred mile commute… daily. I would like to offer my Jeep as a trade for a NICE family friendly, fuel efficient vehicle. I would like an AWD wagon (i.e. Outback or something similar), or a nice sporty sedan, etc, etc.
Jeep has two tops, doors, new tires (Geolanders), near new motor (Buick V-6), front/rear hitches, full cage roll bar, it IS the split window, has extra windshield, harness seats and belts. Runs and drives like a Jeep! Great rig and very capable of whatever you throw at it.
I’m flexible, but not open to insulting lowball offers. If you have a Geo Prizm to offer that’s fine, but plan to add something else to your offer. I have cars to drive to work, but each of them have a drinking problem. I work swing shift, so I can be reached in the mornings or late at night.
