I’d forgotten that I’d bought this brochure until it arrived yesterday. So, here’s yet another 1950/51 Sedan Delivery brochure with the same brochure number of SD-73-MI–80M–350. This one has a blue front and a copper-colored(?) delivery sedan on the main page. I’ll get the page comparing these sedan delivery brochure updated after I post some others tomorrow.
This is how the folded front page looks:
This is the folded back page:
When unfolded vertically, this page appears:
When unfolded horizontally, this page appears highlighting the new Hurricane engine:
When completely unfolded, this page appears:
And, finally, this is how the back appears when unfolded:
Finally, one more, similar Willys Sedan Delivery brochure, only it’s not as large or as colorful as the others. In fact, I’d call it a black, gray and white brochure. It’s form number is SD-M3-73–50M. Given it doesn’t label the Hurricane engine as new, it’s probably later than the other brochures, maybe 1951.
This is the front of the unopened brochure.
This is the back of the unopened brochure:
When unfolded vertically, this page appears:
When opened horizontally, this is the fully opened brochure:
This shows the fully opened backside of the brochure:
This seller has sold several of his father’s items from the time he worked for Willys in the Caribbean. It’s a unique item, but the price seems high given it doesn’t have the original pen.

This photo of jeeps at Mirror Lake is hosted at the Salida Regional Library. Given the CJ-3B in the photo, but a lack of CJ-5s, this photo was likely taken around 1953 or 1954. The caption reads: “The Jeep Club at Mirror Lake during their tour of Cottonwood and Tincup Passes in Colorado. This image is from the Salida Museum Negatives Collection.”

Jeff is selling this modified CJ-3B that’s titled as a 1947 CJ-3B. He’s aware that there was never a 1947 3B, but sometimes title inertia is its own force. You can email him at: jefflamoe @ gmail.com (remove the spaces around the @).
“CJ3B Willys Jeep – the classic late 1950-1960’s era flat fender Jeep. Rebuilt 225 odd-fire V6 (with electronic ignition and Howell TBI fuel injection) transplanted from 1968 CJ-5 along with rebuilt T-14 transmission, Dana 18 transfer case and Warn Overdrive. New clutch, pilot bearing, throw out bearing, alternator, water pump, rebuilt starter. Dana 27 (front) and Dana 44 (rear) axles have 5:38s, new seals, wheel bearings, and rebuilt Selectro front hubs. Saginaw power steering, 11” drum brake conversion. The frame is boxed in segments for strength. Warn 8472 winch that pulls hard and fast. Custom spare tire carrier with detachable cargo rack. The carrier swings out so you can access the drop-down rear tailgate. The rack has tabs to attach a hi-lift jack. The carrier does not rattle or squeak! No kidding – very heavy duty. The Jeep drives fine at 60 mph (at about 2300-2400 rpm with overdrive).
This is NOT a frame-off restoration, but built to be a reliable and capable flat fender with a “period correct feel” of a 1964-1968 Jeep (CJ3Bs and CJ5 were both produced at the same time). You can take this Jeeping with confidence. It is a capable flat fender that could easily go to the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab in a couple months.
If you like flat fenders, then you are familiar with this popular combination of the “high hood” CJ3B and the odd-fire V6. The “Dauntless” 225 V6 boasts 160 horsepower as opposed to the stock 134’s 75 horsepower. This swap gave 1953-1964 era CJ-3B more than twice the horsepower, and only weighs ten pounds more than the 134.
Receipts, documentation and lots of extra parts including Dana 41 rear axle with new ring and pinion, 2 Rochester 2G carburetors, mechanical fuel pump, various drive line shims and seals. Clear Kansas Title (Titled by Kansas as 1947 CJ3B, Kansas VIN: 132586). Odometer shows 16,576 miles.

“1947 Willy’s Jeep shipped from Oregon a few years ago and has been in storage every winter since. Frame is in great shape for its age and bed was sprayed with black truck bed spray long time ago. Good tread on tires. Has tow bar up front to take it on trips or to the trails. Original Willy’s go-devil engine. It runs good. Needs some work, but mechanic buddies say it wouldn’t take much. Not desperate to get rid of “Gretchen”, but could use the space and thought if someone wants it bad enough and throws me the right offer or trade, I would be willing to pass it on to the next guy. A total blast to drive and there’s nothing like an all American Willy’s. So throw me an offer for cash or trade – or a combination – and we’ll see if it makes sense. When it comes to $, would accept the best offer. When it comes to trade, I would be most interested in bare land, camp, possibly the right vehicle (good truck, off road vehicle, motorcycle, etc) musical equipment, farm/homestead equipment, etc….things of fair trade obv. Open to other ideas as well.”

(12/05/2020) A ran-when-parked specimen (though looks like it was parked many years ago). It includes a set of rare X-Style Desert Dogs which look little used. Unclear how much value is here, but the price seems to overestimate the value.
