“1943 Vintage WWII Willys Overland MB Jeep 4X4 For Sale Serial Number: 213591 Mileage; 33,397 One of a kind 1943 Willis’ MILITARY JEEP MB 4×4 in great condition with custom black paint and wood grain exterior panels. This is a real head turner! The Jeep fires right up and runs great! The interior of the Jeep is just as nice as the outside with bucket seats, grey indoor/outdoor waterproof carpet, original gauges, and finished with custom wood grain, chrome accents and roll bar. The Jeep is powered by the original flathead 4 cylinder engine (gasoline), (which displaces 134.22 cubic inches (2,199 cc) with a 3.125 in (79.4 mm) bore and 4.375 in (111.1 mm) stroke. It is an L-head design, with valves parallel to the cylinders. Power output is 60 hp (46 kW) at 4000 rpm and 105 ft•lbf (142 N•m) at 2000 rpm with 6.48:1 compression.) Ok, I can’t resist … something’s fishy about this FC :-).  Actually, it looks in good, unrestored condition.  The paint job is certainly one-of-a-kind.

“This is one great little Jeep!  I bought this on Ebay almost 3 years ago and it has no doubt been my favorite out of the 30+ Jeeps that I have owned in the past several years. It has the stock drivetrain, 134ci F-head 4 cylinder, t-90 3 speed, dana spicer model 18 transfer case and dana axles.  The motor runs good no knocking, ticking or smoke.  Original 6 volt system.  4 wheel drive works fine: high and low and front locking hubs.  It has a warn winch with a good controller that was rigged to a battery and solenoid in the bed but I have never tried to operate it and the battery has been removed.  It has a heavy duty custom front bumper and the rear bumper is a custom tube air tank with a guage and air hose hook up to fill your tires, beach toys or run tools.  The tailgate opens and closes fine, windows go up and down and the doors shut very tightly.  There are no rattles or loose parts on this Jeep, it is solid.  The floorboards look like they have been patched with metal and there is a layer of outdoor carpet for insulation and rubber flooring over that.  The heater works, horn works and all guages work.  The seats are black vinyl, firm and in great shape except for a small hole in the back of the passenger seat.  The inside floor of the bed is flakey around the bottom edges but there is no rust through anywhere on this Jeep.  The frame of course has surface rust and maybe some pitting I guess you would say but is still very solid.  The rear cab corners have had new metal replaced on them but it is a very solid repair as well.  This is the first year these were made and it has the narrow track axles which I think make it look even more unique….”

Many new parts including Brakes, tires, windshield, paint, seats, steering wheel and wiring harness. Needs very little to finish. Like mirrors, e brake and the horn has to be hooked up. I have the mirrors and horn, just haven’t had any time. A lot of time and money have been spent, but it has to go.”

This is that rare M38-CJ-CJ2A-CJ3B Model … Mixed parts, mixed model numbers, and an unusual VIN Number make this a bit of a puzzle.  The VIN is unusual because, according to all the records I have seen, the highest CJ-2A VIN is 224764. So, something isn’t right here.

UPDATE: SOLD on eBay for $2500 just a few hours after it was listed.  This was also listed at $2500 on Craigslist originally, but to my surprise didn’t sell.

This looks in great shape.  It still looks like a pretty good price given the condition.

“1950 Willy’s Jeep CJ3A, it has been garage kept in Santa Fe New Mexico for the last several years. The last time the Jeep was registered for the street was 1994. I would recommend a tune up and have the carburetor re-built or cleaned, fluids have been changed, engine oil and anti-freeze, the gas tank was drained and new fuel put in. The Jeep has been converted to a 12-volt system and still uses a generator. There is an electric wiper on the driver’s side and a manual wiper on the passenger’s side. It has locking hubs and they work fine. The engine is not the original, and does leak some oil, probably from sitting and not being run for the past few years. The transmission shifts fine and does not pop out of second gear at all; the transfer case also shifts with no problems. ….. The jeep has been stored indoors in my garage and well serviced thru the years. Has a 4cyl overhead valve engine, manual trans and manual locking hubs as well. Recent new parts include: radiator and newly rebuilt fuel-pump. Up grades include radio and electric wipers. Jeep runs great, all guages work well and frame is solid and tires good. “1949 Willys Jeep-CJ 3A, 62,000 miles, PTO winch – tow bar – roll bar – warn locking hubs – half cab with doors, 4 cy Jeep engine – 6 volt system – This Jeep was purchased by my father in 1960 as a hunting vehicle. It has the original running gear with the exception of the engine which was changed several years ago. All gauges are functional. Diamond plating was added on lower sides of body and new steel panels to floor of cab. Seats have been re-done. It was originally white then painted blue then green. “1965 Willy’s Tuxedo Park 20Th Anniversary CJ 5 These jeeps are very rare!!! 225 cu V-6. Holly 400 cfm 4 barrel carb on an Edelbrock manifold. Headers, Overdrive, Full Cage Roll Bar, 11 inch Brakes, Duel gas tanks, Front locking hubs,Tilt and Power Steering and an after market heater. Here are some pictures. I`m going to put it up on a lift and get some pics of frame and running gear for those of you that want more. It`s never had a break or crack in the frame. I even have the original key that came with the jeep when purchased new. It had a single shift transfer case that my dad changed the shifter handles on. You know how those old school folks are. This jeep was set up right. It has a long stroke motor with small primaries in the carburetor for good low end torque and good gas mileage and secondaries for good performance. Its the only 225 I’ve ever seen with a 4 barrel. Not to say they’re not out there. It has 39.000 original miles. With a little cleaning and a nice paint job it would look like new. It has a little dent in the hood and at the bottom of the door. When I say little I mean very little.This jeep was my fathers and he took very good care of it. He passed away 2 years ago and its been sitting outside. It was in the garage for the first 42 years of its life. Its going to be hard to see it go. “After much agonizing, I’m selling my 1960 Jeep FC170 cabover pickup (flatbed). Good body, presentable interior, nearly new tires. All original running gear: 3-speed, two-speed transfer case, locking hubs. Hurricane 6-cylinder engine is frozen (rod?). Clear title, current license. This will be a very easy restoration for a collector, or can be a real workhorse with either the same engine or with a 350 swap (adapters are available commercially). Why sell it? Running out of time this year, with too many family medical issues to deal with, and enough other 4×4’s that this one isn’t really needed. Call for more info or pictures. ”
