“Both will run said to have rebuild motors can hear run make offer”
It runs, but needs a little work.

“M38 1/4 ton Utility Truck. S/N 29944. Military Jeep for sale, runs good. Needs exhaust and brake repairs. Seats are new.”
No engine nor title.
“1947 Willy’s Jeep no engine, no title.500obo ”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1499.
(03/20/2023) Andy shared this one. It appears to be a GPW based on the front cross member.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/739074384560054
“I do not know the year on this, it required a yr so I put this down. I know nothing about this, it has a motor, an extra set of axles as shown in the pictures, what you see is what you get. I am open on reasonable offers as well.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1600. It’s confirmed that this isn’t a Traveler.
Listed as a 1949, the seller believes this to a be a Traveler, but it’s obviously made too early to be that.
“1949 Willys Traveler 2wd No motor or trans but mostly complete besides that. No title. $1600”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(06/03/2023) Not sure how much value is here.

“Parts jeep rough shape. Used to have a trencher attached years ago. Does not run. No title”
Maury shared this video from AMC Jeep. I was 18 when this came out in 1983. I’m sure I must have seen this on TV and I hazily remember the folks riding a bison, but don’t remember the full commercial.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10.
Andy shared these two Willys-Overland postcards. They are both marked “1952”, which seems accurate.
“2 vintage antique jeep post cards”

“1947,48 Willy’s Cj2a , runs and drives new tires , IH hubs , good project jeep no title .”
This jeep has a variety of updates. It sounds like the hardtop in one of the pictures has been sold.

“1952 Willys, raptop, the doors and hardtop are no longer available. Nothing original except for frame and body, everything else is is custom. Built to climb hills. Original color dark green, new color bright yellow. Engine is a 231 Buick engine. Not an original willys engine. SM 420 transmission”

“V6 removable enclosed cab ,bead lock wheels on 35s 4 wheels like nobody’s businesses love this Jeep wish I could keep it to many vehicles not enough time own a piece of history. ”
Roger Martin shared this ad for an original Ford GP Pintle hook, but I haven’t followed prices on these to know if this is a good one or not. (You can get repro versions on eBay for $175)

“I’m looking to sell my ford GP pintle hitch prototype asking 500 located in vermilion Ohio willing to ship”
UPDATE: As Lee points out, this has the wrong gauge cluster for a 59. Either the year is off or the body is a replacement or something else.
Seems worth a look. Will need work of some kind. Appears to have some EasyLok hubs.

“Needs a few things to finish the project, I’m just tired of it and need the money for a j3 cub”
This likely has an f-head.

“Selling my 1948 Willys CJ2A, or would consider a trade for a Rolex Submariner. 12 bolt conversion done. Have clear title. Runs and drives amazing. Body is average, but then again, when you’re 75 years old….. Recently spent over $6k on making sure she runs good and stops good. Didn’t spend the time to make sure a “larger” guy like myself could fit in her and go off-roading. (It’s tough for a fat guy to drive a rig when neither the seat nor the steering wheel move)”
It will need some work.

“1961 FC170 for sale, title in hand. $7500 obo
Was going to be the family project, started cleaning it up and taking it apart and the family moved to other favorite activities, so it’s time for me to move on from it.
Has some unique features (grill guard, bed rails), we had the engine run about 15 seconds once to see if it would fire, and started working on repairing a big dent behind the driver. Has pretty much all of the main parts, glass, doors (glass in one door is cracked but intact).”
This is supposed to be a solid Jeepster, but will need some engine work at the very least.

“Decided to sell our 1950 Jeepster, 6 cylinder. Even has the rare “6” emblem on the hood. Clean TN title in my name. New over the past year: tires, brake master cylinder and wheel cylinders, new aluminum radiator, rebuilt starter, rebuilt water pump, carb rebuilt (twice), plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, button, points. The engine was supposed to be rebuilt before I got it. It idled, but wouldn’t rev, prior to all the work. Slip the clutch and it pulled in 1st and reverse in the garage. Also has the overdrive unit. After the work……..nothing. I added an electronic ignition conversion, nothing. We’ve owned this for several years, always stored inside. We’ve come to understand that we will not get this car up and running and have moved on to other projects. This is a solid car that just needs someone’s magic touch, no side curtains (we have frames), and no top (we have the bows on the car).”
May be worth a look for a parts jeep.

“I pulled this out of a farm it has solid body, the engine has a rod knock but all parts for plow is there and worked when parked it comes with a bill of sale , it had been used for farm use before 3000 $ or best offer parts only no title”
May be a parts jeep.

“1947 Willy’s cj2a has original data plate and serial number plate . Have rest parts for motor no tub or windshield good project jeep , no title”
It will need floors, or become a parts jeep.

“This is a project keep willys No tittle only bill of sale”
This includes a Kelly 23 series hardtop and a plow. It *might* be an actual Farm Jeep jeep.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/655315913133718
“1953 Jeep Willys CJ3A. Title has body type as farm Jeep and model as FJ (farm Jeep ?). Still has 6 volt electrical system and pretty much original other than the aluminum radiator. Brakes and emergency brake works but it has never been down the road since I’ve owned it for 11 years. Always starts on the coldest day of the year to plow driveway maybe twice a year. Was last ran in October of last year and never had snow to use it last winter but it just started right up without charging the battery just pulled the choke and it fired. Very dependable and hydraulic plow works fine up and down, angling the blade side to side is done manually though. I would recommend towing it even though it has brakes I don’t know how well it will stop on the road it has never left my driveway in 11 years after brake system was replaced, engine rebuilt and clutch replaced.”

A big thanks to Chris for surprising me with this purchase from eBay. The post card shows CJ-5 #2, which ferried visitors up to Harney Peak in South Dakota.
UPDATE: There’s another one of these brochures on eBay.
======================
Original published March 20, 2023: This early version of the San Juan Scenic Jeep Tours brochure was pre-FCs. It was listed for sale on eBay at some point. Thankfully, the images were still available.
The price on this rare ad has dropped to $12.00 (with $7 shipping). I can’t recall seeing this one. The seller has four of these for sale.
