“$5,000 OBO. Rare opportunity to own a 1956 Jeep FC 150 (forward control pickup). This truck has been garaged for 15 years. The bed is like new and ready for paint. Brand new fenders. The cab is coated in rust inhibitor. The original chassis (rare narrow track) is included. It is nearly a complete truck. It’s on the trailer and ready to pick up. Delivered for a fee. Title in hand. Would consider a trade or partial trade for a decent CJ or TJ.”
Should have some parts value at the very least.

“1958 Jeep FC 150. Bought as a project, never really got motivated to start in on it. Don’t know much about it.”
You’ll need to be on FB and be a part of the Vintage Willys Jeeps Marketplace and Discussion Board: CJ2A, MB, Ford GPW Group to respond to this one.

“Complete Jeep that has been sitting 22yrs. engine not frozen, just not getting any spark. It comes with a bikini top and doors. Extra parts as well. I might part it out but would rather sell it as a complete vehicle. It`s out of the DMV system, I do have the original pink slip. If you see the ad I still have it. (909) three01-one964 Scammers Don`t waist your time!! Cash offers in person. No Venmo, No C/C`s, No Pay Pal, No B.S.”
Rob’s selling these three hardtops. All fit CJ-2As. One hardtop includes rare vertical doors. The ad is on FB, but you can contact him via email at rob @ humblerootslandscaping.com (remove spaces around the @).

“I have three complete Koenig Model 330 steel full hard tops for sale. They all fit CJ2A’s. Normal wear and tear for 70+ yr old Jeep tops. Only rust through are minimal spots on a couple of the sections that bolt to the tub. Two exterior door handles missing. All interior window mechanisms complete and present. The black top has rare rear ambulance doors.
Buyer could piece together a fantastic top simply by mixing and matching panels from each top or with even a hint of metal working skill could easily restore all three tops and sell for a healthy profit.
Would like to sell all three as a package deal. Buyer must collect but can help with loading. Please note the tops are just tacked together and on uneven ground for display purposes only.
$1,200 cash. Price is firm. Located in Asheville, NC.”
Bill shared this video of a Ford GP that was found in a junk yard (The Jeep was found there, not the video). A bit too much patina for my taste.
Barney Goodwin shared this ad and confirmed the rare bed was an early option. He noted, “Just to confirm. We have the leather factory presentation book from September, 1962, and it shows the Townside bed was an option on all 3 models 100, 200 and 300. It’s a really neat book. Actual color photographs pasted into gold printed fames and all the specs and details.. In 1962, the factory hired an additional 1000 employees for the J-series line.”

“Awesome solid restoration project up for grabs! ONE WEEK AUCTION! NO RESERVE! MUST BE PICKED UP BY NOVEMBER 30TH! Original low mileage 1963 Willy’s Jeep Gladiator J200 4×4 with the Townside bed and Western Plow. Tornado 260 engine with the 3-on-the tree standard transmission. This truck is extremely solid for a truck that spent much of it’s life as a camp plow truck in the Adirondacks. Very low 29,151 miles on it. It will run and drive however the mechanical fuel pump died and the previous owner put in an electrical unit that has too much pressure and it keeps flooding the carb. Aside from that, all I can think of that it would need is some new rubber gaskets on the gas tank filler pipe. They dried out. Continue reading
Glenn shared this 4×4 panel wagon that could use some floor love. There appears to be plenty of solid wagon still left here.

“63 Willy’s Panel. 4×4. Super hurricane six cylinder flathead. Solid body with typical front floor board rust. hat channels and pillars are solid. Engine runs well, nice quiet and smooth. No smoke at all, seems to be a great engine. Clutch transmission, and 4 wheel hi and lo all work good. Generator charges 13.8 volts. Drivers door latch doesn’t always latch. Vehicle has been in dry storage a lot of years in the hands of a collector who passed away. Montana title is clean and matches vin data plate.
runs good for loading for transport. tires are old. I live near a main highway with truck access for shipping or pickup. Buyer pays $500 deposit within 48 hours and remainder to be paid within 7 days.
Vehicle can be stored for the winter if it is paid for within 7 days.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $22,500. Has a Pepsi Surrey look to it: https://cj3b.info/Siblings/SurreyPepsi.html
Sri spotted his pretty Tux park.
“his is one of the rarest jeeps ever made. My understanding is that they only made approximately 460 of the CJ-6A Tuxedo Park Mark IV which has a 20 inch longer wheelbase than the CJ-5’s. This one was originally sold new at Desert Rambler Jeep dealership in Indio California. It has been in a dry California climate all of its life. It has a 134ci in-line four-cylinder motor and a three speed manual transmission on the column. I have just put brand new period correct off-road tires on it.

UPDATE: Other than checking emails and comments, I will likely be away from the site until Sunday. Everyone enjoy your Thanksgiving!
Here’s a republished post form 2018:
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
If you’d like a nice story to read this Thanksgiving, you can try an article about Durwood J. Smith. The story contains both a jeep and a Thanksgiving memory on the Western Front (see Durwood’s pic below) … do you know how hard that combo is to find?? If not for Roberto Flores, we wouldn’t even have art depicting jeeps and turkeys together!!
I won this rare early (first) Gala Brochure off of eBay. It is Form H1-3-59. The marketing document appears aimed at resorts and other tourist businesses. Interestingly, it appears conceptual in scope and doesn’t show any of the actual models available, other than what Las Brisas had done with DJ-3As. Note that on the back page it encourages interested parties to write to “Gala Plan, Willys Export Corp., Toledo 1, Ohio, U.S.A.”
This one page brochure (I’m assuming there is info on the back?) is one I haven’t seen. If it weren’t for the UK postage, I’d grab it.

UPDATE: There’s another Baraboo Postcard on eBay.
(08/04/2014) This CJ-5 used to ferry visitors around Baraboo. I visited Barboo about two decades ago, but never saw it. It must have already been gone.

UPDATE: Here is what looks to be a Champion Doo-All Roll-Dump trailer for sale for $500. Thanks to Gary for spotting it. Gary contacted the seller and he is willing to transport it to Gary’s place for $50 in case anyone might be interested in this rare trailer.

====================
I can find no date for this Champion Company Doo-All ‘Jeep” Trailer brochure. Give only CJ-2As are shown, I initially thought this was published around 1948. However, the lack of Jeep wagons or trucks may indicate the brochure was published earlier than that. The from number is S-3-T.
This first 8″x11.5″ page is the front page:
The brochure opens horizontally to review a second page.
The right page opens horizontally again, to reveal a trip-fold:
This is the back of the brochure:
This might be worth a look, though note that it appears to have body liner all over. It includes a Kelly hardtop.

“Completely restored Original, 6 volt, also have the hard top and doors (not restored) Will trade for newer Jeep with automatic transmission”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9800.
This is a former brush or fire vehicle. Thanks to Tom for forwarding.
“Up for sale is my 5700 Original Mile 1971 CJ6. This was a fire vehicle since new. The jeep runs and drives, it probably needs a tune up after sitting for so long. Clean and clear title in hand! ”
Looks like a good price.

“1945 Willy’s CJ2a (first year of cj) 39,000 original miles on original flathead four-cylinder. Original oil bath, air cleaner and all. Runs, but will need a carb rebuild kit due to leaky seals. And brake work. this is number 1505 of 1824 on the first production run. There are a few small spot where rust is bubbling the paint job which was done in the late 70s. I have a white top and doors in good condition. Great candidate for restoration or just enjoy it as it is. this was a barn find purchase. Where it had been sitting since 1984.”
It’s been sitting for a while. Has a modified windshield.

“I purchased the Willy’s Jeep in 1979 as a third vehicle to our family to enjoy some 4-wheeling, sand pit crawling and rock climbing. The Jeep was put in storage around 1992 and the engine was fogged to preserve it during storage. Upon waking the Jeep up from storage a few weeks ago, the following items were updated or replaced”
Wayne’s got this solid truck for sale.

“This classic truck gets attention everywhere I go. 4 wheel drive, 1993 4.3 Chevy V6 (crate motor), throttle body fuel injection, 4-speed manual with manual overdrive, manual steering and brakes. I purchased the vehicle in Oregon in 2017 and have done lots of work to it since. I drive it to much and hoping to find buyer who will value and restore this unique truck.”
