“1949 Willys CJ3A. Restored from the bottom up. Built by a NASA engineer!!!!
Frame off restored in 2011:
-Professionally done paint and body. All steel. Original body sandblasted and repainted. The paint is Dupont and the color is from an early 90’s Chevy truck.
-Rebuilt 1967 Chevy 283 V8 engine bored 30 over. Crane cam, Offenhauser intake, Edelbrock carb and Mallory ignition. Less than 1,400 Miles. Runs smoothly with no issues whatsoever.

“1948 CJ2A. 2 inch lift, with 31″ TSL bias ply Swampers. Front disc brakes, power steering, lockers front and rear. Full roll cage, 4 point seat belts up front. Engine rebuilt 2 years ago. Hardened valve seats added. Also rebuilt the transmission and put in new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. Rebuilt front end with new bearings, races, seals, discs, pads, and calipers. Rear end just rebuilt. $7000 or offer.”

(11/08/2014) Looks like a fun rig.
“The previous owner told me this rig was custom built in the late 1960’s as a no-kidding Sand Dune racer.
It’s incredibly fast! It will hold 65 MPH up Vail Pass on I-70 while barely touching the gas. The v8 motor is very strong, but when you combine it with such a small / light vehicle, it’s just crazy. The motor fires right up and is very strong, doesn’t burn any oil.
I believe it is a reproduction CJ3A steel body and not original Willys. I do have a clear Colorado title in my name. The bottom of the “tophat” channels underneath the tub are rusted, but the actual tub pan itself is very clean, and the frame is clean and solid.
The paint job is probably 20 years old, so is faded but still looks okay. I can’t stop for gas or pull up to a stoplight without someone drooling over it or asking questions.

“Overhaul= Red Devil 2.2 engine, trans, clutch, radiator, new shocks, alternator, starter, headlights, belts, new 12V battery, suspension springs, gas tank, seats, canvas top, custom game carrier, pto, 4×4 work and much more. I have all receipts, SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY. It took 3yrs to rebuild. I’m avid hunter, lost my Lease. Retired military used it daily at the lease, not street worthy. It runs strong powerful 3 speed manual engine and tops out around 60 mph in 3rd gear. My workhorse never let me down. I hate to sell it but, don’t need anymore. Jeep repainted to Lime Green. “1945 FORD GPW WWII JEEP….This jeep is a one of a kind custom biuld , this jeep turns heads as it should it commands atention, as every where it goes it gets lots of compliments and compliments. It is fast and it is a real beauty biult tasefuly to bring together the old with the new. I have completed everything from ground up all that is left to complete is install new glass have the new rubber seals and electic wipper motars to insall . Other than that this jeep has been done from ground up and done right. Here is a discription of what has been done. (04/29/2014) This has an old school feel. This may be a MB or GPW body/chassis. Note the hubs on the rear. What’s really interesting is the reshaped entrances for drive and passenger. It’s well done and gives the jeep a slightly different look.
“Bought this Willys to restore but have decided it is too much of a project for me. It is either a 2A or 3A (year and model unknown since no identification on body or frame and no title). It has a modified body, roll cage, frame and axles. Has a raised hood with one rust spot and lots of bondo (probably part of conversion to V8) and modified steering.
I installed used tires since the pictures were taken so I can roll it around. It can be used for parts or rebuilt. Looks like it had a Chevy v8 in it at one time. It has surface rust but metal seems solid (several holes have been cut into the floor and inner front fender wells for unknown reasons).
You may notice the rear axle is really a front axle installed in reverse (reason unknown) and pictures also show a Dana 18 transfer case (it has a hole in the side so case is not useable).
It appears to have re-arched springs to give it a 2-3 inch lift.
Asking $450 with wheels and tires (tires have minimum tread) or $350 without wheels and tires.Jeep is located in Helendale. I can deliver within local area (for a price) if necessary. No title, bill of sale only.

“1948 Jeep cj2a, Flat head 4 cylinder, T90 three speed transmission, Spicer 18 transfer case, Dana 44 rear with gov, lock, 11 inch brakes and 5.38 gears, DANA 27 front with 11 inch brakes and 5.38 gears, GM steering conversion, Early warn upright winch works great, full soft top and doors(needs back window), bikini top, full family style cage, rear seat with tool box underneath, heater works, CB, 34×10.5 super swamper on weld wheels. Has a tow bar and spare parts motor tyranny transfer case, tail gate, fenders, and another set of 35 inch BFG mud terrains on wheels great tread but side walls are cracking from weather, Super fun to drive on the trail and around town on nice days. Not much rust but paint does have scratches from trail exploring. It is 68 years old. Needs passenger side glass.”
There’s some value here in the body and roll cage, but still very much a project.
“1975 CJ6 with 75 CJ5 metal half cab and doors. Body panels riveted in place. Body is solid. Frame is solid with no thin spots. Dana 60 axles. T-18 4 speed tranny. Model 18 t-case. 360 AMC with 4 barrel q-jet and GM HEI. rock bars. interior and exteropr roll bars. power steering. needs driveshafts, shocks and some paint (spray bomb). Comes with diffs NOT installed. Extremely rare Cj-6 model. Price is firm. If you want the jeep finished it will be $3500.00. This is a project truck for off roading. It isn’t pretty but it’s a great jeep to finish and go wheeling with. Minimal work needed. I have no time to finish it.”

Well over sixty thousand invested with all specs and documents. 4.3 Chev. with B&M blower and fuel injection. 8.5 compression with 202 aluminum heads. Engine and blower have less than 3,000 miles, the complete jeep has 16,000 miles. Power steering, disc brakes (all four), Warn hubs(all four),with floating axles in the rear and HD Warn inner and outers in the front. Both ends are 44′s with ARB air lockers and 4.88 gears. On-board air and turbo 350 tranny with B&M manual shift kit and Allison converter. Suspension is all custom over-the-top Chev blazer with duel shocks and reversed shackles. Radios are all built into the double sand bar along with four recessed speakers. Bikini top and 1/2 doors, full top with full doors. Warn # 8274- 8,000 lb. winch”
