This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946? Willis home made half cab with Kelly doors, bed from 1/4 ton trailer, we call it “frankenwilly” flathead engine has decent compression, converted to 12 volt, new alternator,carb,starter, new wheel cylinders and master cyl. Frame repaired and sags, very ratty, very neat lots of good parts no title. We used it on the farm til this summer ”
