“All original 1944 Willies Jeep flathead 4 cylinder everything works $2500 obo trades”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2300.
Powered with a Studebaker 6.
“Up for sale is a 1947 CJ2A Willys Jeep. I don’t have the space to store this Jeep inside for another winter and have other projects in progress. This jeep was an old Western Union vehicle and currently has a clean PA title. The engine is a 1953 (roughly) 170ci Studebaker flathead 6 cylinder. Transmission and transfer case are original.
Recent new parts include:
Tires
headlights, tail lights, turn signals, and switch (all working street legal)
professionally installed wiring harness and 12 volt conversion
front and rear shocks
fuel pump and line
Cap / Rotor / Wires/ Points
Jeep needs:
-Carb rebuild: this Jeep does run but will not idle and the carb leaks fuel. The carb is a carter bb-1 with manual choke.
-Body work: as you can see in the photos, the body tub has been patched and could use some work if you are looking for a show Jeep. The frame is in very good shape.
-I do recall the throwout bearing making some noise at idle in neutral but the jeep shifts in and out of gear and into 4×4 without issue. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
This has MB/GPW parts, a CJ-3A windshield, and an M-38 body. The half cab looks to be a Beck or Kemco.

Very strong running Jeep. I have been using it as a daily driver.
All the lights work and so do the brakes. I replaced the generator with an alternator. Also has an electric fuel pump. The body is in pretty good shape giving how old it is. Also comes with a half cab and doors. It has a heater that works really well for Winter driving.
Any other questions feel free to contact me. I am open to offers so shoot me one. I also prefer cash.”

“Meyers Half Cab rough condition, This top came with a lot of parts that I got with a basket case cj3b, They used a grinder to remove a lot of the screws so there are a lot of small cuts where they removed a screws, the entire thing is rusty, it does have the glass but will need a new seal. if you are looking for a new ready to go top this is not for you, it will need some simple welding to get it ready for install. the bottom edge will need some attention.
I do not have the doors or any other parts for this top.
as far as I know it will fit a cj2a/cj2b maybe more I don’t know.
I have another one of these and Im modifying other to fit my cj3b

“1949 CJ2a need it gone, can’t work on it for at least 2 years so I need to get rid of it. It cranks so the engine isn’t seized and the tires do inflate. It has a F-134 engine instead of the L-134 Go Devil. I’m in Portland and you will need a trailer to move it. Comes with a sheet metal cab and doors, can be worth money by themselves.”

“1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A has a flat head 4 cylinder engine and all high lows was a good running rig 15 years ago, comes with extra parts. The jeep would make a great hunted rig. ”
Given the half cab, there could be value here.
“selling body only (frame is NOT for sale). it has the hanging pedal upgrade with hydrolic clutch and vaccume booster brakes, extra fuel tank also has very well built rear swinging tire and jerrycan holder. downside is the floorboard/firewall was butchered for a V8, but it comes with a wheelbarrow to fix it. these half cabs are hard to find this far south, i have almost all of it, things missing is one door glass is broke (it’s flat glass, easy fix) and i am missing the body side hinges (not hard to duplicate, pipe and pin deal). email your number and I’ll call you back.”
Sounds like there is value here.
“1960 CJ5. Motor started. Have gas tank removed to fix holes. No title. Tub rusted needs work.”

“1955 willys jeep 6 cyclinder 3 speed been in same family for 60 years. Runs and drives everything works. Asking 3500.00 or best offer.”
It includes a plow, too. The hardtop looks unusual It might be a halftop version of a “Keyes” hardtop, so called because the similar full version has a Keyes sticker on the back of it. You can view side and rear views of it on the CJ-3B page (See Derek’s description of Steve Dunkel’s jeep here). Anyone know more about these tops?

Maury spotted this one-off CJ-5 backhoe tractor combo. He wrote, “I was helping my brother in law pick up some car parts this past weekend, and ran across this interesting CJ5-based vehicle. It was made by the guy who owned the business that was selling the car parts, and he told me it was a one-off he created years ago in Michigan in the hope of successfully marketing it.
The CJ5 body was bought new from AMC separately, and installed on the heavy steel frame he created for it. He said the resulting vehicle was the only loader-backhoe he knew of that could go 80 m.p.h.!”
