(12/09/2022) Appears worth a look. Has some rust. There serial number postfix of 18728 puts this as a 1960, rather than the 1962 year that is listed.

“Picked up this 1962 willys CJ6 Jeep over the Summer. For a number of reasons, this is a project I am unable to pursue. Odometer shows 8k, probably rolled over once. Has some rust and usuual jeep rot, but in pretty good shape considering. Jeep came from an airplane mechanic and appears to have a good base for a restoration. I was excited to see an original hard top, which I believe are pretty hard to come by. I’ve left the jeep in essentially the same condition I got it, which includes most of the old dudes tools and nik knacks. I think $4000 is a fair price, but feel free to shoot me an offer”1962-cj6-fortcollins-co6

“1965 willys cj6. 90% original. body is in great shape for the age. all glass is good, windows work. starts, runs, and trans. shifts good. has power brakes but they dont work. have a new carburator and a fuel pump kit, but so far havent needed to put them on. motor smokes some. i havent ran it much, might clear up with a little Resolone and an oil change. im waiting on the former owner to find the title. this would be a great jeep to restore. asking $6,000”

The carburetor has been rebuilt and the jeep has new batteries. The 24 volt military electrical system in intact and most work. An electric fuel pump has been installed. “Jeep hard top which needs restored. Pretty solid and all the glass is in it. Have metal doors to go with it but need restored as well. The door glass is there. The top and doors were disassembled to restore but got a different top, so did not finish the restore. This is a FCFS and no holding. If it is listed then it is available and when it is sold it will be marked sold. I believe this top is for an older jeep CJ5 but will fit others. I have had it on my CJ5 but I am sure it will fit a CJ2a as well.”

“I have three complete Koenig Model 330 steel full hard tops for sale. They all fit CJ2A’s. Normal wear and tear for 70+ yr old Jeep tops. Only rust through are minimal spots on a couple of the sections that bolt to the tub. Two exterior door handles missing. All interior window mechanisms complete and present. The black top has rare rear ambulance doors.
Buyer could piece together a fantastic top simply by mixing and matching panels from each top or with even a hint of metal working skill could easily restore all three tops and sell for a healthy profit.
Would like to sell all three as a package deal. Buyer must collect but can help with loading. Please note the tops are just tacked together and on uneven ground for display purposes only.
