This needs some brake work, but other wise looks solid.  It’s been modified slightly, especially the running boards on the side.  I think they look pretty good.

“61 Willys truck flathead 6 cyl. 3 speed. Runs and drives good, only front brakes are working.
Body and frame are solid, rear fenders are modified and has full length running boards. 31 in.
tires with good tread but some weather cracks.Has push type front bumper with plow lift, pump
and valve under hood for a 4 way snow plow. No blade included. A neat old truck to fix up.

(06/14/2012) Well, this has an unusual history.

“This Jeep Willys Overland MB 1946 was purchased from an Italian Army Surplus Sale during the sixties, subsequently the car was restored for my late Mother by Carrozzeria Pavesi Rolls Royce and Bentley, Milano, Italy. The restoration was focused on making a glamorous car with all original parts, just the roof and side panels are a work of art…. The dashboard was fitted with a wood panel to increase the good look and the original plates where fitted to the glove compartment box door instead of the engine compartment. The car is fitted with a Webasto gas heather for cold climates. The car was stationed in St. Tropez, France for many years and then was sent to the Swiss Alps in St. Moritz where it stayed until I imported it into the US in 2003. It is a great car, all systems works very good, steering, brakes, engine, etc… it would make a great addition to a Summer/Winter Home, it is great on snow, beats any modern car…. The attention to details in this car is fabulous.”

This needs the clutch replaced.  The seller mentions it has an ‘aluminum’ buick V-6; however, I suspect the seller has confused that with the aluminum V-8. The engine is most likely cast iron if it is a V-6.  This may be a good price.

“1953 jeep willys, army green with rebuilt Buick v6 aluminum engine, only 38,000 miles. New muncie 4 speed transmission with high low overdrive. 4×4. Canvas top with bucket seats and old school cb radio. This things awesome, its lifted, it has a working winch on the front bumper, like new tires. Only issue is it needs the clutch replaced. If you’re good with cars the price I’m asking is a steal. Parts are inexpensive, all gm, and easy to come by. If you have it done professionally however you’re looking at about $1200, I have the quote on hand. All told you’d be spending around $4200 if you go that route, and $3800 tops if you can do it yourself. I’m in the military and I just don’t have the time or resources to get this fixed. It’s worth $5500 with everything working right, so I could easily ask for $4000, but Im dropping it to $3000 just for the inconvenience of it. (08/15/2012) Here’s an unusual CJ-5.  It appears to have been modified by the same people/person who created these other modified jeeps, an observation I’m basing on the top.  Given the jeep is from Hesperia, there’s a very good change it is the same group.  Note that the jeep was stored for more than three decades.
